I'm the opposite - find the vocals distract from the energy of the original instrumental megablaster. Found the same with loads of dance classics like 'Love Story' by Bushwhacker/Layo, 'Needin U' by David Morales and 'Tsunami' by Dvbbs/Borgeous. Miles prefer the instrumentals.

But this version is the hit and giving it the publicity so... :music:

Not that it matters but I meant 'more than I used to' even though in retrospect I agree I didn't actually say that haha... would agree the instrumental is better but I used to hate the vocal version, where as now I'm enjoying both.

I like both versions of Love Story but most definitely agree that the instrumental versions of the others you mention are far superior

For now it does seem to be the sped up version only to have the horrible tagline to "help" people search for it :kink:

Someone please tell me if I'm going mad, I swear the streaming version of the original vocal mix has had its production tinkered with? Like it's definitely the same song, but it just sounds different?

Which versions or sources are you comparing exactly?

Literally just Perfect (Exceeder), the radio edit on Spotify.

Which other version are you comparing it to? Is it on YouTube or from some CD?

It's been re-recorded by the one remaining member of Mason.
