This is pretty average. Sadly, I don’t think she will ever be big again. The songs just aren’t as strong anymore!

#98 in the Thursday midweeks so unfortunately it seems unlikely that it'll stay Top 100. It's not exactly had a huge push though and I don't think it matters hugely how well this song for Pokémon does.

 

I still think it's great, full of hooks and this sound is what Katy excels at.

Electric finally entered a chart somewhere in the world :(

 

It managed a paltry #97 peak in Canada but who knows, maybe it'll climb from there ^_^

Ok so I joined the party late and only recently started to take notice of this song, and immediately I loved it! I think the reason I love it so much is it is uplifting and it resembles a favourite pop song from 2018 both in the melody and in the rising chorus;

 

 

Does anyone else find these two songs uncanny in their resemblance? :o

Oooo, the chord progression sounds really similar during the chorus and the production is really similar in that part as well.

Aside from that, it does sound very different. It's a great song though. I'm surprised I've never heard it before!
