January 19, 20214 yr 'Own It' is ok but it's by far the weakest of Stormzy's #1s for me (and one of my least favourite of Ed's #1s as well although I'd take it over 'River' and 'I Don't Care'). Godzilla isn't that bad at all, but it's so forgotten about in terms of 2020. River was like this also for Eminem, neither has had any staying power in our minds. Bit oop for it to finish below Times Like These though. I would say 'Godzilla' is the one song that has felt genuinely big and relevant from Eminem from his last couple of albums. Mostly because of it being the first posthumous Juice WRLD release, but the last verse from Eminem felt like a memorable moment too. I'm surprised that it would fall into the same category of forgettable hits as 'River' for other people. Maybe I'm just biased because it's my favourite recent Eminem song (by a very large margin), eh ~
