16 Enrique Iglesias - Takin' Back My Love avg. 8.46

Highest: 10 (Nina West, Addy!, Doug, Riser)

Lowest: 5 (dandy*)

15 Eminem - Like Toy Soldier avg. 8.46

Highest: 10 (...readyforit, NickF1, Doug, Riser, Iceman501)

Lowest: 4 (Bjork)

Enrique loses second biggest hit in this countdown 'Takin' Back My Love' and leaving only 'Hero' yet to be announced. 'Like Toy Soldiers' did well for Eminem but I thought it will be one of his Top 3 songs.

And just like that Enrique is the first artist that all of his songs are already revealed. Yeap, Top 10 is officially Enrique-less. I feel he deserved at least one song in Top 10 but the BJ crowd has spoken!!! Eminem loses another song and this time is 'Without Me' which personally I feel it's one of his weakest lead single, still good but not his best. Perhaps by that time I was tired of him releasing these kind of "mockery and funny" lead singles.

And just outside Top 10 we have two Justin tracks taken from his sophomore album 'FutureSex/LoveSounds'. Nothing to cry about because he still has most songs in top 10. Well done to him.

and here is your top 10 songs:

Eminem - Lose Yourself

Eminem - Stan

Eminem - The Real Slim Shady

Justin Timberlake - Cry Me A River

Justin Timberlake - Like I Love You

Justin Timberlake - SexyBack

Justin Timberlake - What Goes Around...Come Around

Robbie Williams - Feel

Robbie Williams - Rock DJ

Usher - Yeah!

Any predix?

Poor brave Enrique! He didn't deserve to be first out. 'Hero' should have at least made the top 10. Him in that video... :gaycat:

Justin looking to be the male equivalent of Nelly with dominating the top 10... but I have a sneaky suspicion that Eminem will win with either 'Stan' or 'Lose Yourself'. I can see a Justin/Eminem top 5 tbh.

10 Robbie Williams - Rock DJ avg. 8.69

Highest: 11 (Jester, gavindeejay, Iceman501)

Lowest: 5 (...readyforit)

Top 10 starts with one of the Robbies best 'Rock DJ'. The song was released on 31 July 2000 as the lead single from his third album 'Sing When You're Winning'. It samples the strings from Barry White's song "It's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next to Me" and also contains a sample of "Can I Kick It?" by A Tribe Called Quest and has a quote from "La Di Da Di" by Slick Rick and Doug E. Fresh. Who knew a song can have so many samples lol. It reached number one in Iceland, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom as well as the top 10 in Australia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, and Switzerland. We can also say a thing or two about the music video where Robbie goes from stripping naked to eventually resorting to removing his skin and muscles and ending up as a skeleton.

09 Justin Timberlake - Like I Love You avg. 8.73

Highest: 11 (Riser)

Lowest: 6 (NickF1)

"Like I Love You" is the solo debut single recorded by Justin Timberlake for his debut studio album, Justified. It was co-written by Timberlake and the Neptunes (Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams), who also produced it. The song was released on August 26, 2002, as Timberlake's debut solo single, following the announced hiatus of NSYNC earlier that year.

The song peaked at number 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number two in the United Kingdom. I don't have much to add to this since I feel it's pretty basic pop and the best materials from him came afterwards!!!

08 Justin Timberlake - What Goes Around...Come Around avg. 8.88

Highest: 10 (Addy!, dandy*, Iceman501)

Lowest: 7 (Bjork)

'What Goes Around...Come Around' comes in at #8 and personally I expected to be at least Top 5 because it really is one of the best from Justin.

The song was said by Timberlake to be about betrayal and forgiveness, and was described by some music critics as a "sequel" to his 2002 single "Cry Me a River". The song received generally positive reviews from music critics. It was release as the third single from FutureSex/LoveSounds. It became Timberlake's third consecutive number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Internationally the song was also successful, reaching the top ten in countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, and Australia.

07 Justin Timberlake - SexyBack avg. 8.88

Highest: 11 (Addy!)

Lowest: 6 (NickF1, Iceman501)

Third Justin song in a row to be revealed as 'SexyBack' ranks 7th. Another one of his where I thought it could challenge Top 5 or Top 3 matter fact. I consider this to be one of the most successful lead singles launching an era. It also became first Hot 100 #1 hit for Justin and it stayed there for 7 weeks. It also became first #1 in UK.

06 Eminem - The Real Slim Shady avg. 9.19

Highest: 11 (...readyforit)

Lowest: 7.5 (NickF1)

May I have your attention, please :kink:. 'The Real Slim Shady' just misses Top 5 but who cares since he has two tracks in Top 5 yet to come. The song is a critique of manufactured pop songs that were popular at the time, and garnering much attention for insulting various celebrities, including: Pamela Anderson, *N Sync, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Will Smith and few more.

and will continue with Top 5 tomorrow but Yeah, Feel free to Lose Yourself and Stan your faves. Sorry can't fit Cry Me A River in that sentence lol.

Love that!

I'm shocked Usher has managed a top 5 finish. Out of those I'm hoping for a Cry Me A River victory. Poor Justin going from 4 to 1 between top 10 and top 5.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Eminem will win with either 'Stan' or 'Lose Yourself'
I was thinking this too actually. Impressive that Eminem has the most songs remaining and especially more than JT!

Also very impressed with 'Feel' making the top 5 <3

Yeah in the top 5 not sure if I agree, I'd replace it with Sexyback, which I'm surprised it didn't do better

That's a pretty decent top 10 overall, difficult to argue with it.

I'd like Lose Yourself, Cry Me a River or Feel to win but Stan is also great. Yeah is good but not quite in the same league as the others for me.

I hope the top 5 goes like this:

1. Cry Me A River

2. Lose Yourself

3. Yeah

4. Stan

5. Feel

I don't expect Yeah to make the top 3 though. Surely Yeah and Feel are next out.

I wouldn't mind a Cry me a river/Stan top 2

05 Robbie Williams - Feel avg. 9.19

Highest: 11 (Addy!, Chez Wombat, dandy*, Iceman501)

Lowest: 6 (...readyforit)

Alright, we start Top 5 with an amazing song by Robbie Williams 'Feel'. It was released 10 October 2002 as the lead single from his fifth studio album, Escapology. The song was aimed to become the Christmas number-one in the United Kingdom, but peaked at number four. However, internationally it did amazing and became his biggest selling single in Europe.
