April 11, 20214 yr This has got off to a reasonably good start on streaming, it's already #80 on Apple Music and it's not even been out for a full day yet. I wouldn't immediately write it off. Pretty sure that's quite a bit higher than 'All You Ever Wanted' was at this stage. Up to #38 on Apple now, and at #10 in the First Look today!

April 26, 20214 yr Author Rag'n'Bone Man & P!nk are going to be performing at The Brits. That will give the album a nice boost on release week.

NME - 2/5: "heartless power-pop by numbers" The Independent - 2/5: "A safe but simplistic and forgettable pop-rock-soul offering" Daily Mail - 2/5: "The 14 songs are mostly pedestrian ballads: Life By Misadventure by Rag'n'Bone Man is a clear case of the diffident second album" Dork - 3/5
May 7, 20214 yr I had a quick listen to the snippets on iTunes and I'd say they sounded as generic as the reviews suggest. It didn't appear to get even vaguely upbeat until about the 7th track or so
May 8, 20214 yr He's not an act I'd expect to do particularly well on streaming, his debut only had 3 album tracks appear in the Spotify top 200 on its first day (#77, #186, #197). It depends what the physical sales are like I guess. He's doing much better on Apple though, the Pink collab is up to #13 and there are 4 other album tracks in the top 200.
