December 3, 200619 yr Considering that the gem of the album has been released and has made very little impact I would suggest that this album will sell very little more than it already has. I agree, it'll probably skim 500k in total. All his others have done 1m+ haven't they?
December 3, 200619 yr Robbie's single and album have done incredible considering he's at the other side of the world  Who else can sell 300,000 albums without actually promoting it? the beatles, abba, queen... shall I go on
December 3, 200619 yr Author 21 (from 16) Red Hot Chili Peppers - Snow (Hey Oh) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/W751CD1.JPG Chart Run: 50-16-21 'Snow (Hey Oh)' is the third single to be taken from Red Hot Chili Peppers' epic and widely praised #1 double-album 'Stadium Arcadium'. Produced by Rick Rubin (Beastie Boys, System Of A Down) in the same house in the Hollywood Hills that the band recorded 1991's landmark album 'BloodSugarSexMagik', 'Snow (Hey Oh)' is cleverly understated yet employs an insistent hook to ensnare the attention of the listener. 'Snow (Hey Oh)' follows the band's recent singles 'Dani California' and 'Tell Me Baby'. - HMV Video here: [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E08VtCNj23E.swf Discussion Thread Here
December 3, 200619 yr The RHCP song is starting to grow on me. 'Tell Me Baby' was excellent.
December 3, 200619 yr Considering that the gem of the album has been released and has made very little impact I would suggest that this album will sell very little more than it already has. Robbie Williams with the "RudeBox" album is so far a text book example of how to make a marketing pigs ear out of a fantastic album. If he had released any of the (best) commercial tracks from the album "She's Madonna, Keep On, The 80's, The Actor, Viva Life On Mars or The 90's", then we would be discussing whether Robbie was going to have the best selling album of the year or not.
December 3, 200619 yr the beatles, abba, queen... shall I go on   Fair point  But it probably would have at least done a little better had he been around here to promote it.. saying that though I was in HMV with one of my friends who is a HUGE Robbie fan and he said it didn't appeal to him but he might buy it for his collection.
