Lol whenever I see an outlandish statement such as "Free Me (song) is AWFUL" I think... okay you need to hear Cosmic Shower, then you'll realise what the word awful should be reserved for x

Don't you own Cosmic Shower?

I think Cosmic Shower might be the worst song ever recorded, it both manages to be ear splitting noise and out of tune.

Been having a serious think about this and I’ve decided this would be the best setlist

3. Sunshine on a rainy day

4. He’ll no

5. A mind of its own

6. Soul boy

7. Feels like sex (for Mr X 😉)

8. We’re not gonna sleep tonight

10. Today

12. Do I

13. So I give up on love

Amazing right guys? 😍

OMG stop flirting with me

But why can I actually see them doing it? Like, I can picture it in my mind and everyone just leaving after a few songs lol

I would absolutely DIE if they did this. DIE. I would absolutely love them forever for it and would laugh my head off at the same time. Definitely hate them a bit too but I think the shock would turn into love eventually

I resentfully own it for the sake of my collection :gaga:

Everything about this response made me LOL! 😂

How can I stop flirting you’re Mr X ☺️😍

Also you would love it instantly now I’ve pre-warned you the girls will make history as having the worse setlist in Glastonbury history which would then make them even MORE iconic 🤩🤩🤩

A Mind of Its Own getting a reprise performance is gay rights, honestly x

Never has a truer word been said... except that a Cosmic Shower reprise would be even more gay rights! :w00t: :cheer:

Ooh great set list by the way, Sideout - it would certainly be an interesting scenario if only one of them had a solo moment. From an egos point of view, I can't help but feel that all of them would want their own individual moment.

... but let’s be honest Melanie is the only one who could get away with it 😍

There's only 4 solo songs on Spotify that have over 20 million streams (When You're Gone, I Turn To You, Never Be The Same Again, It's Raining Men). Matter of fact, they are also the only solo songs which have over 10 million streams. None of the Spice Girls album tracks have over 10 million streams. Melanie C could justify having a 7 or 8 minute solo set.

One would hope that artists make set lists because they are good and make sense rather than because of numbers of Spotify streams. It's a festival, not a jukebox musical...

It's obvious that listeners on Spotify dont have any taste, cos if that was the truth then the Spice catalogue would be almost all over 100million streams and Bunton's Free Me would be over 1billion

I agree with you to a certain extent. Spotify is a good indicator in which songs of a legacy artist has stood the test of time. Just because a single was a big hit back in the day, it doesn't mean it will find an audience decades later. For example, look at how many "forgotten" singles Madonna has.

None of Madonna's BIG hits are forgotten though, she is literally has the chance of doing the biggest Glastonbury slot ever with her big hits

1. Holiday

2. Borderline

3. Like a virgin

4. Material girl

5. Crazy for you

6. Into the groove

7. Live to tell

8. Papa don't preach

9. True blue

10. La Isla Bonita

11. Open your heart

12. Like a prayer

13. Express yourself

14. Cherish

15. Vogue

16. Justify my love

17. Erotica

18. Don't cry for me Argentina

19. Frozen

20. Ray of light

21. Music

22. Don't tell me

23. American pie

24. Hung up

25. 4 Minutes

Out of these EVERY song would be instantly recognisably by the majority of the viewing public. Tell me any other living act who has a list of that many songs that recognisable... Elton John maybe??

Spotify numbers are far too influenced by playlists, what is in an artists top 10, even the order of songs on albums.

I mean I love Emma but Come away with me is only so popular on her Spotify (compared to other non singles) because it's on a chill covers playlist. No one is seeking out that song.

Of course a song being on a playlist is going to factor in the amount of streams it has. A young person is far more likely to discover a legacy artist on a playlist than actively searching for them on their own. A record label has to choose what past hits they are going to push on playlists. They can't promote every single a particular artist has released in their career.

Yes, Madonna has a ton of well known hits, but she also has many "forgotten" singles as well. Spiceboy listed 25 of her singles that he thinks are well known. Madonna has released over 70 singles in her career.

I would keep it similar to the 2019 Tour but with a few solo songs and guest appearances!
