HOT AS ICE
[Avg. 8.46]

Digging into top 40 we have another one from Blackout, HOT AS ICE. Funky pop-rnb tune which remids me a lil' bit on Prince. I can't imagine Blackout without HAI. The songs fits perfectly whole record and Danja was really on fire with production!

QUICKSAND
[Avg. 8.5]

Next is a bonus track from Circus album. QUICKSAND pop song wich was written by Lady Gaga. The song is simply amazing, her vocals shines on Garibay's production. This song as other bonus tracks from the album shoud have been on main track list.

WHAT U SEE (IS WHAT U GET)
[Avg. 8.57 - 3 x 10]

Highest Score: Nina West, jAddy! & Euphorique (10)

Up next is a track from her record breaking 2nd studio album 'Oops...! I Did It Again' and it's the massive WHAT U SEE (IS WHAT U GET). So happy to see this top 40. It's such a storming pop song. Definitely would've made a great single choice. The chorus blends the pure pop sound so beautifully with her attitude and fierceness with the delivery of it. A great song and worthy of being top 40 here!

MY PREROGATIVE
[Avg. 8.625 - 0 x 11]

Highest Score: NickF1, Tafty & jAddy! (10)

Up next is the fantastic MY PREROGATIVE. A song that fits SO PERFECTLY to events that played out and relate to so many elements of her life. Not only that, but it took SO LONG for me to find out that this was a cover   It's perfect for her and she really puts her own mark on the song and completely OWNS it like it's her own song. One of the greatest ever cover songs, imo. Fantastic! So much attitude and punch packed into this.

HEAVEN ON EARTH
[Avg. 8.625 - 2 x 11, 2 x 10 & 3 x 9/9.5]

Highest Score: NickF1 & dannjohn (11)

Finishing this section is a track from 'Blackout'. It's the super sexy, super smooth and super sensual HEAVEN ON EARTH. This is pretty much the 3rd part of the threesome of 'Breathe On Me' and 'Touch of My Hand'. I'm very happy to see this finishing as high as it has done. She really excels at these types of songs. The production really sends you into a dream-like state of euphoria. Just stunning!

I LOOOOVE this batch so much. All 3 are amazing. 'Quicksand', along with 'Amnesia', should have absolutely made the original 'Circus' tracklist. So good. 'Sometimes' is the first song that I think of whenever people are asking to name "A song that brings you nostalgia" or something. Absolutely gorgeous!

CHANGE YOUR MIND (NO SEAS CORTES)
[Avg. 8.625 - 2 x 11, 2 x 10 & 4 x 9/9.5]

Highest Score: NickF1 & jAddy! (11)

At #32 is CHANGE YOUR MIND (NO SEAS CORTES) which is taken from the 'Glory' album. It's a bop and I could definitely see this working as a single. Another one of Britney's classic deluxe album only tracks. 'Better', this, 'Liar' & 'If I'm Dancing' should have all made the standard album imo. An infectious bop that really plays to the strengths of it's Spanish influences. It really does pop off the most in the sun and the chorus is a real ear worm!

TOY SOLDIER
[Avg. 8.65]

Highest Score: ...ready for it, NickF1, Tafty, Nina West & jAddy! (10)

'Blackout' album track TOY SOLDIER is up next. One of the instant highlights from that album and it quickly became a big fan favourite, one that many believe should have been a single. It's easy to see why as it's infectious, catchy and makes you want to dance. It's quite surprising though that it isn't the highest rated album track on 'Blackout'! I definitely would have assumed it was this tbh, but 'Get Naked (I Got A Plan)' is worthy of taking that crown too!

DO YOU WANNA COME OVER?
[Avg. 8.75]

Highest Score: Nina West & Jade (11)

Starting off the top 30 is DO YOU WANNA COME OVER, which becomes the 2nd track from 'Glory' to appear in this section. This was the first instant grat taken from the album and was immediately considered "classic Britney" as it's the closest thing we've had to early Brit since the 'Circus' era. It's got a pulsating bassline and that chorus hits hard! Nice to see it top 30 here as I knew it was popular, but for me, I can still list off a handful of 'Glory' tracks which are better, imo. But a great song all the same!
Change Your Mind is arguably one of my favs on Glory, alongside Man on the Moon and Just Luv Me. Such an underrated album with so many single worthy tracks. DYWCO is also a bop.

LUCKY
[Avg. 8.76]

Highest Score: Tafty (11)

LUCKY is out next. The ultimate, nostalgic sweet spot hitting 2nd single from her record breaking sophomore album. The thing that really makes 'Lucky' stand out is that behind it's sugar sweet pop melody and hooks, it's a really dark and harrowing look at the lifestyle of someone really famous... this song seemed to foreshadow and form one too many parallels to Brit's own life as the most famous popstar on the planet just a couple of years later. Such a well made pop song. Disguising the troubles of fame behind something so appetising.

AMNESIA
[Avg. 8.81]

Highest Score: Tafty & Juan Carlos (11)

Up next is one of the infamous bonus tracks from Britney's 6th studio album, 'Circus'. AMNESIA is the Gaga penned, Fernando Garibay produced smash hit single that never was. Bearing in mind that Gaga was just about taking off at the point that Britney had released the 'Circus' album, it's a wonder why her team A- chose not to use this as a single at ALL, B- make it only available as a part of the DELUXE version and C- just not capitalise on this song despite the hype for it being at a obvious high. It became an instant fan favourite and people were literally CRYING for it to be released as a single. It's such a fantastic pop song! One of her absolute bests for sure.

ME AGAINST THE MUSIC (FEAT. MADONNA)
[Avg. 8.87]

Highest Score: Nina West & Jade (10)

At number 27 we have the collaboration ME AGAINST THE MUSIC with Madonna. This was the lead single from the highly acclaimed 'In The Zone' album. At the time many considered this as a disappointment considering it featured the 2 biggest female popstars at the time. Over time though, I really think it's aged magnificently. Full of hooks and a chorus that will get stuck in your head, with a really slick bridge that people often try to imitate. I can see why many were disappointed, but there is just something so magnetic that keeps pulling you in. Plus the video is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Such an iconic video!

Lucky  I loved this song so, so much. I think I watched the video about 3 trillion times. It’s the kind of song that my younger self died for and like you’ve mentioned, what a tragic foreshadowing of what was soon to come. This and the Everytime video always get me in their autobiographical nature.

I can take or leave Amnesia and Me Against The Music. The later always felt like a bit of a disappointing opportunity missed for the pairing of two of the biggest female solo artists. However, I will say that the choreography for this song years later in the Piece of Me show at Vegas did actually give me a better appreciation of this song.

PIECE OF ME
[Avg. 8.90]

Highest Score: ...ready for it, Jay*, NickF1, Tafty, Nina West, jAddy!, JosephStyles & Euphorique (10)

Kick starting this batch we have PIECE OF ME which was the 2nd single from Britney's ground breaking 5th album 'Blackout'. The song is a huge f-You to the paparazzi as it deals with the pressures of being in the spotlight and having the press constantly hound you at every angle of your life. The song features backing vocals by popular Buzzjack starlet Robyn and it was an immediate highlight from the album for me from the first listen. Such a great song that oddly feels very under appreciated now.

[Avg. 9.03]

Highest Score: NickF1, Tafty, Nina West, Jade, Juan Carlos, Euphorique, Cremey & dannjohn (10)

Top 25 time and we lose GET NAKED (I GOT A PLAN). WHAT A SONG. Everything about this song is so perfectly crafted. The production is slick, the vocal production is FIRE. Danja's vocal compliments the song wonderfully. Sultry, sexy and so smooth. I feel like this is the song that takes us closest to 'In The Zone'. Very surprised to see it as high as 25 here though! So deserving! Need more Britney + Danja SO bad.

TIL THE WORLD ENDS
[Avg. 9.04]

Highest Score: Nina West (11)

Finishing up this section is the anthemic 2nd single from 'Femme Fatale', TIL THE WORLD ENDS. With such an awful release strategy this song never reached the peak it deserved in the UK. It peaked at a rather underwhelming #21, but it stuck around for a few weeks and thanks to it's constant use as a soundbed to various TV spots, it's become one of her signature hits. The song was a massive hit everywhere and managed to reach top 3 in the US. I'd actually recommend listening to the remix version featuring Nicki Minaj & Kesha. It's iconic and SO much fun. "I ain't talking poultry when I say this Chicken's friiiiiiiiiiieeed!" Incredible.

HOLD IT AGAINST ME
[Avg. 9.08]

Highest Score: ...ready for it, Jay*, NickF1, Tafty, Nina West, jAddy! & Juan Carlos (10)

In the last batch before we finally get to the top 20, we kick it off with the lead single from Britney's 7th studio album 'Femme Fatale'. HOLD IT AGAINST ME is a storming pop song that infuses Pop with the Dubstep sound that was all the rage in the early 10's! The video is amazing. I'm really happy to see that this is the highest charting track from the FF era (just!). I have always had a huge soft spot for it and I am happy that it's the highest place track from 'Femme Fatale', as I would have assumed it would be 'Til the World Ends'.

WOMANIZER
[Avg. 9.12]

Highest Score: JosephStyles (11)

Another number and another lead single dropping out before we hit the top 20. This time it's the lead track from 'Circus', WOMANIZER. This was dubbed as "the commercial comeback" of Britney, despite releasing her most critically received album just a year prior. 'Womanizer' got the 'Circus' era off to a flying start where, at the time, it had claimed the record as the biggest jump to #1 in Billboard history as it jumped from #96 - #1! It was also a massive hit pretty much everywhere else too as it became her biggest hit in the UK since 'Everytime' ('Piece of Me' smashed ofc, but this outdid it). Released on that infamous big pop female week in 2008, Britney ranked 2nd highest of the new entries behind Beyonce - If I Were A Boy. Other releases were: Leona Lewis - Forgive Me & Christina Aguilera - Keeps Getting Better. I think Alesha Dixon's massive hit 'The Boy Does Nothing' was released that day too, but at that point Alesha wasn't a "threat" as such. SO much respect for 'Womanizer' and it's not an all time favourite, but I'm happy we have it as it's a banger.

CINDERELLA
[Avg. 9.15]

Highest Score: ...ready for it, NickF1, Tafty, Nina West, Jade & JosephStyles (10)

At the unlucky number of 21 and missing out on the top 20 is 'Britney' album track CINDERELLA. This is highly regarded as a missed single opportunity from the 'Britney' album. It has that classic early 00's pop sound that Britney really excelled at back then. When I think of the 'Britney' era I think about 'Overprotected', this and 'Lonely' being the holy trinity in terms of what represents the sound of that era the best. Just infectious and punchy choruses over a slick produced pop beat! Incredible stuff. I think this would've been a massive hit for her after 'I'm Not A Girl...' did it's thing. Very happy to see it as the highest rated album track from that album and SO close to the top 20!

So there we have it. 'Femme Fatale' is the first and only album to lose all of it's tracks before the top 20! Your winner is amongst these 20 songs. Any predictions? :o

Some great songs left for the top 20. It’s a shame none of the tracks from Femme F made the top 20. Can’t even think how many times I played Hold It Against Me & Til The World Ends.

So happy to see Unusual You still in the top 20 - love that song a lot. And Born To Make You Happy

It’s tough to predict a winner but I’ll go for Toxic...
