Awful cover. I also do not get this era. She started with Hollier-style pop/rnb, then switched back to teenage doo-pop for two songs, and then went into a rock cover??? What was going on?

This cover... exists :kink:

Mad that this got single treatment over some stellar album tracks elsewhere :(

The 'Britney' era is a HUUUUGE mess singles, wise :( But it was partly down to 'Crossroads' movie taking priority I think. This song is featured in it!
Yep. She did.

I really wish they didn't bother with this cover. Ugh. BUT THAT VIDEO. One of Tyler's fave videos from her I think!

Ah okay, she had cords tied to her, but wow :o Celebs would be screaming get me out of here if they had to do that on ITV!!! It makes the video even better to know all that scenery is real and not blue screens.

For a long time 'Boys' was my least favourite Britney single. I found it empty and just a whole lotta nothing. But nowadays, I bop to it and appreciate it a lot more!
i know i am alone but i *LOVE* the Co-Ed remix of "Boys"'

make it two of us

I love Boys and was always happy that she never ditched it on her tours...she always performed it

Damn movie promotion ruining this otherwise great album! 'I'm Not A Girl' and 'I Love Rock N Roll' used for 'Crossroads' and this being used for 'Austin Powers' :drama:

The 'Britney'-era should have gone:

01. Slave

02. Overprotected

03. I'm Not A Girl (Promote her movie etc..)

04. Lonely

05. Cinderella

imo.
