I have always thought and continue to think that Take That fans in UK are far more loyal than RW fans - they are very, very supportive of everything, whereas UK RW fans (IMO) do tend to be a bit more critical and less avid. Rob gets his numbers from Europe and Australia where there is still a lot of loyalty. But that is just my thoughts.

 

 

I agree Laura , RW fans are not always supportive & can be highly critical . think Rudebox . Rob has always taken a chance & done stuff outside the box for which I admire him greatly . I find him a very exciting artist, so creative .

 

 

I would love to see him win the GG & put the cat amongst the pigeons but I guess even being nominated is good. I want that win for him ;)

Agree with the Rob fans which might have a reason not only because of UK compared to Europe or Australia. I think it is also about the target group: TT is family. Rob is still merely women, young then - middle aged now and they are very much still teenagers or so calmed down so that they can't be bothered.

I also hope that the knot will still burst. All the critics cannot be that wrong.

It is interesting to see the discussion on some American forums. Someone says he enjoyed the movie. Then tens of comments with every possible excuse why not to watch the move surface. Then someone tries to objectively argue for the movie. Gets bullied. People still ignore it......But they will crack eventually 🙃

I think such people as Pink, Hugh could help in this battle.

Let's see which another stars from Hollywood will be gentle with Rob and the movie as well. I'm sure in the past James Corden could help but now there is need somebody else.

 

P.s. just watched another great movie of 2024 - Arthur The King. It's also powerful film with a battle against difficulties and doubts. Mark Wahlberg is a great actor... Same as this dog :)

He did not win, but I have not expected it even if the movie would have been a success until now already. Since some years awards are even less about how good something is or isn't than in the past. In the past you needed to be part of the lobby which was the strongest and we all have heard enough about that Today the awards seemed to be given away so that at least all diversity criteria are fulfilled and if we are lucky this is than also the best in the category.

That's the problem with a lot of social media sites these days , people are not allowed to have a personal opinion or like or dislike . It's a whole lot of nonsense & people should not be afraid to say what they feel . A lot more people like Robbie than they will admit to but stay silent about it ..

Great interview. Loved what he said about the song Something Beautiful . I think the movie soundtrack has given him some ideas for the upcoming tour, it should be very exciting ...

& yes Rob is indeed very brave ..

 

 

 

After seeing the reaction to the movie I think that Rob might well look back at some of the songs he has written & appreciate how good they are . I feel that is something he has not thought about before & hopefully he might incorporate some of those songs in his future tours ...
