After seeing the reaction to the movie I think that Rob might well look back at some of the songs he has written & appreciate how good they are . I feel that is something he has not thought about before & hopefully he might incorporate some of those songs in his future tours ...

When Will Better Man Release On Streaming?

Paramount+ Will Be The Streaming Home Of Better Man

Regarding a streaming release, Better Man is yet to have a set date. However, it is easy enough when to predict the film will begin streaming for audiences to watch at home. Given that the film is a Paramount Pictures release, Better Man will begin streaming on Paramount+ after its theatrical run. Prominent Paramount releases of 2024, such as IF and Transformers One, took around six to eight weeks to be released on Paramount+. As it is not expected to be a major box office hit, Better Man will likely be released on Paramount+ in late February or early March.

When Will Better Man Release On Digital?

Digital releases often come earlier than streaming releases for most major Hollywood films of late. Where Paramount releases are concerned, digital dates tend to come around a month after their theatrical debut, offering audiences the chance to watch the film at home for a usually standard price of $19.99. With that in mind, Better Man will likely be released on digital in early February, around three to four weeks after its theatrical debut on January 10, 2025.

2025 Oscars: 323 Films Eligible for 97th Academy Awards But Only 207 for Best Picture

323 feature films are eligible for the 97th Academy Awards, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced today. Last year, 321 films were eligible for Oscar consideration, with 265 competing for Best Picture.

Of those 323 however, only 207 feature films are eligible for consideration in the Best Picture category, 58 fewer than last year, which has additional eligibility requirements beyond those for general entry. While several non-English language films and documentaries – like Denmark’s The Girl With the Needle, Norway’s Armand, Canada’s Universal Language, Senegal’s Dahomey, The Remarkable Life of Ibelin and Frida – failed to make the Best Picture cut, some high profile studio titles like Paramount’s Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Mean Girls and Smile 2, Sony’s Bad Boys Ride or Die and Madame Web, won’t be on the ballot for the top award. The Marlon Brando biopic Waltzing with Brando starring Billy Zane, which was Oscar-shortlisted for makeup, was also missing from the Best Picture list, most likely for not qualifying under the Academy’s new rules regarding the span and scope of theatrical presentation within the deadline.

To be eligible for consideration in the general entry categories, under rules implemented for the 97th Academy Awards year, feature films must open in a commercial motion picture theater in at least one of six U.S. metropolitan areas: Los Angeles County; the City of New York; the Bay Area; Chicago, Illinois; Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; and Atlanta, Georgia, between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, and complete a minimum qualifying run of seven consecutive days in the same venue. Feature films must have a running time of more than 40 minutes.

To be eligible for consideration in the Best Picture category for the 97th Academy Awards, films must be eligible for general entry and have submitted a confidential Academy Representation and Inclusion Standards (RAISE) entry form. They must have met two of the four standards required in addition to an expanded theatrical eligibility requirement, which includes a theatrical run of seven days, consecutive or non-consecutive, in 10 of the top 50 U.S. markets, no later than 45 days after the initial release in 2024. Eligibility in the Best Picture category is subject to change if late-in-the-year films do not complete the planned expanded theatrical run by January 24, 2025. A film’s distributor or producer had the option to opt out of Best Picture consideration.

Nominations voting begins on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, and concludes on Sunday, January 12, 2025. Nominations for the 97th Academy Awards will be announced on Friday, January 17, 2025. The 97th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC, streamed live on Hulu and airs live in more than 200 territories worldwide.
