Mmm not true, Leigh's song that leaked wasn't amazing, but it was inoffensive, it would've been a nice album track once it was polished. Jesy's was.. horrendous, putting her already tightrope voice over the top, having the absolute worst inane lyrics and also weirdly sounding like 7 Rings (Which in itself isn't a good song)

 

If that's the music Jesy intends to make then good luck getting that top 40 u speak of.

Wait why are people defending that clip of Jesy? No one can surely listen to that and think it is good? Her voice sounds painful, the lyrics are embarassing and it sounds like a parody of a Jesy song someone would make to take the piss out of her.

Im not sure what isn’t true as you’ve literally just said yourself Leigh’s song wasn’t great.

 

There is zero objectivity regarding Jesy or music, like I get why and I’m not saying this song was good at all. I was just saying that it’s going to be harder for her to gain any sort of praise for her music, not that she should be.

Jesy has deactivated her instagram, hopefully she is ok.

Could it have been a left-over schedule from her Polydor contract? She "left" them at the end of July (29th) - it's possible that they had planned to release a second single in September and made arrangements to do so, but the split happened when they couldn't agree on anything. I just doubt she and her management would've been able to either set up something independently during August and start scheduling promotional duties as they're usually set up months in advance, but also other things plainly relating to legalities probably wouldn't have been able to be sorted in such a short time frame.

i imagine she'll look to restart in the New Year.

 

Her silence over the Boyz debacle is quite telling as i thought she was the one driving that.

She’s returned to instagram after a long break.

 

Wonder if this will mean some sort of music announcement will come soon?

I doubt there will be much news until the new year. As I said - I assume they'd still have to deal with legal stuff and if she's either signing with another label or setting up her own, it'll take some time to do.

More like she would be mad to try and release anything now, songs take a few weeks to take off these days and in a few weeks Christmas songs will invade the charts. Not that I think she could get a hit now but the only people releasing over the next 2 months will be album sellers.

How involved are artistes themselves in decisions like this? Because despite all she's done, I really don't think she would want that.

Or maybe more like Lisa Scott-Lee vs Jenny Frost.

But again, it might be inevitable to avoid clashing with one of the other three. Might not get released the same week, but might end up being few weeks apart, and so might still compete in the charts

You all are having a laugh if you think she has any shot of competing at the charts. After burning her bridges and burning through her own money its hard to see where she goes from here.
