March 26, 20215 yr New peak for Maroon 5's collection and it doesn't even contain their newer hits
March 26, 20215 yr New peak for Maroon 5's collection and it doesn't even contain their newer hits  I was just about to post the exact same thing, it also achieved a new number 25 peak here in Ireland 3 weeks ago.
March 26, 20215 yr 2010 nostalgia is really flourishing... Maroon 5, Katy, Derulo, PITBULL ( ), Gaga...
March 26, 20215 yr Beaten to it  I did flag it a fortnight ago though! Mr Brightside completes half a decade in the Top 100 and Perfect (which will surely overtake Afterglow soon) notches up an 81st different position.
March 26, 20215 yr Author they should seriously consider relegating artist compilation albums to their own chart at this point (or at least not count their streams, so they can still chart if they're actually being bought), it's ridiculous the number of them that are in the chart from streaming playlists. but only after Abba's GH reaches its 1000th week in the chart otherwise we'll have to wait over 2 years for Rumours to finally be the first to pass the mark
March 27, 20215 yr I was completely unaware there was an AURORA song gaining traction on TikTok (it's in the 400s on Apple and I don't think it's charted on Spotify so just another example of songs being able to make the lower reaches of the chart with very limited visibility) - have to assume it's been given a manual SCR reset as it's another one that's over 3 years old. Gym Class Heroes however overcoming the permanent ACR barrier to get a top 100 re-entry presumably also because of TikTok, which also seems to be becoming more and more frequent (Wilkinson doing it the other week and Arctic Monkeys x2 / The Neighbourhood a few months before that as well for example). In other news, 'Martin & Gina' rising yet again and only one place off its previous peak - at this rate it looks like it might just end up eventually becoming a top 50 hit rather than contending for the longest running non top 50 hit lol ~ also happy to see 'Chemtrails Over The Country Club' (the song) re-entering pretty close to its original peak and Lana managing to get her 3 song limit in the top 100 again, although all at lower positions than the equivalent songs from the 'Norman Fucking Rockwell!' album bomb despite the album having higher sales this time (I guess she just had much stronger physical sales to more than make up for reduced streaming numbers).
March 27, 20215 yr regarding those GH, there is a very easy solution, don't count playlists streams for album sales and then Mabel wouldn't be in the top 1000 anymore :D
March 27, 20215 yr Yeah, no one has actually bought that Maroon 5 album this week. It’s purely from streaming.
March 27, 20215 yr It's not even that it's streaming, but it has nothing to do with album itself. People are just listening to She Will Be Loved and Payphone from playlists.
March 27, 20215 yr these are Lana's peaks when the last 2 albums dropped, as Bre mentioned above: Doin’time/42 Normal F**king Rockwell/44 F**k it I Love You/59 White Dress/51 Chemtrails over the Country Club/62 Jesus Tulsa Freak/81 Just realised now that Venice Bitch never charted, despite being the best track on NFR, guess the song's too long to do well on streaming

AURORA was actually charting on Spotify for the last few days but only in the lower regions of top 200 ( highest it got was #173) so it definitely must've been reset because with halved streams it obviously wouldn't be enough to chart.

Ah right, must have just not noticed it popping up on Spotify then, fair. Though from the ACR Updates thread it looks like the OCC just forgot or chose not to apply the 3 year rule in this case at all apparently and are just treating it as a new song. (Unless that was Joseph's error)
March 27, 20215 yr 79-86-85-77-68-71-74-68-69-72-80-78 6 weeks in the Top 75 is already the most it's had within any calendar year since 2017, when it had 13 but only the last 2 of those were after it was moved to ACR.
