The Mollie King written song is out now to the beat of my heart and I can imagine her doing this, it’s a much better hair down!
It's brilliant, what a huge chorus, all the uptempos have been fantastic. I don't return to Under My Skin or Hold My Heart much, but perhaps they're better in the context of the album.
Absolutely loving the new track. Really hoping it becomes a single

Can't wait to get home and give this a listen!!!

 

Edit: Oooh loving the new track. Their upbeat ones are definitely the stronger songs for far.

Love this, it’s my favourite of all the songs yet. However Lees verse is so out of place, his voice is too low and it sounds odd shoehorned in
A fun fact: I spoke to someone involved in this song (and had a first listen when the album was ready to go, over a year ago!) and they mentioned how anything by Xenomania but not published by Xenomania would go under a fictional name (Steve Smith, which is still what the song is credited to on Spotify) so I was a bit surprised when Mollie and a couple of journos who had a similar pre-listening privilege referenced this being by Xenomania straight away XD
The Mollie Queen reject is SO GOOD that I wish the whole album was done with Xenomania. :music:

Definitely hear 'Hair Down' in this! It is a bop, I was expecting something even better when Aly said it possibly rivalled 'Something in Your Eyes', but it's still another earworm for sure.

 

Someone on PopJustice said the intro sounds like Pop Idol intro and I can't unhear it:

Wise decision, best song on the album. Wish Lee would record his verse again singing it an octave up.

As others have said you can really imagine her singing it. For sure it was meant for her debut solo project, sandwiched somewhere between 'Hair Down' and 'Back to You'.
