Dua is coming to end Body! Stream Levitating

That would be high key iconic, is she performing Levitating?

She's been hinting at a medley! Set your reminders people, Dua is coming to eat that BRITS stage :cheeseblock:

guess the push on TTH is also helping Levitating cos it's much higher on Spotify than Apple or Amazon

was there a Brits-effect on streaming last year?

Where is all the chatter of Ed releasing soon coming from? Has he been teasing a release?
Rag'n'Pink are now just outside the top 50 at #51!

Great to see them continuing to climb! Hopefully they'll be top 50 tomorrow, just in time for the BRITS performance,

Falling by Harry Styles climbed a lot and of course Billie Eilish debuted at #1 with her Bond theme (and we are still waiting for the movie itself...)

Dave's 'Black' also had a pretty big boost on streaming from the BRITs.

I'm not sure any of this year's lineup are particularly looking like they'll be 'moment' performances enough to have much impact in the way Harry's and Dave's were though.

maybe Dua Lipa, but depends on what she performs, hopefully not We're Good :o
I don’t think she will perform ‘we’re good’ as it wasn’t that big of a hit. I think it’s likely to be ‘levitating’ or one of her older ones.

Dua's Grammys performance the other month was incredible and it went viral and gave literally the whole era a boost in the US, I wouldn't count her out

Exactly! Easy to forget that Levitating was already on a rebound from the Grammys before TikTok decided to get hold of it (even causing the leap to #1 in Canada). The same could happen again 🤷🏽

Apparently there is a new single coming this week from Internet Money featuring Don Toliver, Lil Uzi Vert and Gunna. That lineup seems about 75% familiar... (at least Uzi is an upgrade from NAV )

Curious to see if it will be another hit, I think it'd need to go viral in its own right as none of the other Internet Money songs besides 'Lemonade' have really made a huge impact despite a number of other big name collaborations.

And 'Levitating' is predicted likely to overtake 'Drivers licence' and finish the year as EoY no.1 in both UK and USA some are saying. That would be INSANE as Radio 1 DJs used to say!
It's definitely not coming anywhere close to Olivia in the UK  but yes I have seen that about it potentially overtaking in the US. (Important context: the US end of year chart doesn't follow the calendar year for some reason, I think the start of a new year for Billboard EOY purposes is some time in November, so Dua had a bit of a headstart).

Oh one of my many pet hates about the US Billboard Top 100 has always been the inexplicable decision to end the year in November. Grrr. Often means the year end no.1 is released and peaks in the previous calendar year.

Olivia is already out of the top 40 (with ACR) in U.K. so it doesn’t have that much staying power but guess it’s initial lead from earlier in the year is just too big,

The Dec-Nov year is because of the magazine. Back in the day, they needed to have the chart ready for the final printed issue of the year.

Spotify is even worse, their year ends in October so that they can run their Wrapped application in late November

That is so pointless and I always use Last.fm as my YE reference instead.

Levitating’s only #9 of the year at the moment and still behind the likes of Blinding Lights. #1 isn’t going to happen but if it keeps defying gravity it could climb higher.
