My package has at least arrived to customs - £18.52 to get it out  I swear the shipping of this has almost cost more than the two vinyls, cd and single I got...

Totally ridiculous! :puke2:

So glad you'll have it soon, though.

Wait what? Aren’t you in the EU? Mine came through without charge thanks to the new IOSS rules. If you’re in the EU it should have come through without charge

Yes Sweden!! I got the Amazon package just fine. I have no idea why - maybe it's the size that made it go through customs?

I bought the ultimate package and while it took a diversion via customs (all three the packages did) it was released ok

You should push back on it. My package had an IOSS number printed on the label. You should tell them that it should be covered under IOSS and to check the label again for the IOSS number.

I already paid for it to be honest. I'll check the package for an IOSS number when it arrives though and try to see if I can get my money back.

Yeah Defo! And if you can’t get your cash out of the Swedish gov go back to Townsend for a VAT refund as you will have paid Swedish VAT when you bought it and if SE won’t repay you then Townsend shouldn’t charge VAT as you would have paid VAT twice. It wouldn’t be all the cash (as SE will have charged a handling fee) but it would be some of it

I promise I’m not just chatting shit  I work in Indirect Tax Technology at a Big4 firm and this IOSS stuff has been a major theme for us this summer
Honestly, I'm not really sure how much of a fight I'm willing to put up for £18.52
I'm enjoying pretty much all the alternate versions of the album tracks, including the Soul Sound one as I always thought the original of that was nice enough but a little bland - definitely here for the huge switch up on that one.

As a side note - I would like to point out that the alternate version of Soul Sound is absolutely diabolical.

The post messed things up, as usual, but I finally received my package today!! Couldn't be more excited. My Overload single is number 1359.

I like it!!! I love that it's so completely different, you never think that a ballad on an album could have been being considered for any other type of sound.

It's HORRIBLE!!!!

I will put you down on a list that I'm making

!!!

It's very sinister so don't try to run

I'm really starting to prefer the C.R.E.A.M remix of One Touch to the original!

imagine if they did vinyl releases of the overload/new year/run for cover/soul sound singles

100%! It's so breezy.

That would be amazing. They know we'd lap that up. I also wish they'd release all the single packages in digital form. The Radio One Sessions deserve to be heard by the world!
