It's a shame they haven't added Flatline on as a bonus, or at least made it available online again.

 

Other than that, I'm looking forward to listening to this when it gets released :D

I think I read (maybe here?) that the girls are aware of the situation with Flatline and are working to bring it back. These situations can be a bit complex and take time, regarding rights etc, but hopefully it's brought back.

 

I listened to One Touch again the other day! It's such a solid album, I don't think it has any duds. One Foot In - bop!!

Flatline would've just been odd on the One Touch re-issue.

 

But yeah, Flatline was with Polydor so I assume it's them who still owns the rights.

I just hope Flatline will be put back on streaming at some point, never understood why it was taken off. Also never really understood why the label didn't put the leaked album on there as well, they know the songs are out there so at least it will make them some money to put it on streaming services I would assume.

They'd have to pay to master them + pay the producers etc. Plus we don't fully know about who owns the rights to the unreleased material - we know from a brief snippet that they re-worked Light Up a bit in 2019, so they might have retained the rights to at least some of the unreleased material. Plus at least Too In Love's backing track was used on another song (James Arthur's Get Down).

We know Love In Stereo was given to a couple of wine mums for karaoke and I think Burnt Out was also used but that was atrocious so absolutely no loss there at all.

 

 

I am really hoping they still have some rights to Love Me Hard and Your Love and can maybe give us a double disk comeback album with new material and then some of the polished up Sacred Three Leaks

 

 

 

As for Flatline, the girls are working on it. I trust it’ll reappear at some point maybe even under the Sugababes name. Still curious to see what label they’re involved with. I’m still thinking they’ve been resigned to London on the DL. They rereleased Rev in Me after all.

No Regrets was my favourite followed by Summer of 99. Would love polished versions of those.

Summer of 99 were apparently in consideration as a Little Mix lead single (!) at one point - I guess that's the downside to these leaks. People might be vary of actually using them officially.

Considering what they did to the track I thought I was quite complimentary!!

 

 

Summer of 99 is a great track. I don’t think a leak should stop a track being used but I can see why another girl band wouldn’t want to remake it when the original is freely available for compare and contrast op-Ed’s that I doubt will come out in their favour

If I could replace any it’d probable be Soul Sound with One Foot In. I do really like Soul Sound though.

Hard because there’s a lot of great tracks on there but a lot of the ones I love are pure album tracks. I can’t imagine them as singles but that’s not because they’re bad
