September 13, 2024Sep 13 Is there a reason side 1 can't have 6 songs but side 2 can, is it to do with the length? No reason per se, they just so happen to have split the 11 tracks by 5 / 6 across the two sides, but they could have done it 6 / 5 if they'd wanted to. The vinyl also could have had more tracks on each side and a longer running time, so the vinyl could have been the 14 track UK version. However if they'd done that, it possibly would have been to detriment of sound quality though. The 11 track vinyl we're getting could sound great because of having less tracks squeezed onto it. Supposedly the optimum running time per vinyl side for great sound quality is 18 minutes, ideally. Which incidentally is how long Side A of this AWDF vinyl will be. However a lot of vinyl releases disregard this, and often push it to 25 minutes per side, or even 30 minutes... though by that point, it would have been a better idea to spread the album across two separate vinyl. I wonder if the Angels vinyl only being 11 tracks is the result of the team at the label not being overly familiar with the Sugababes catalogue? So perhaps they accessed the 11 track version from the archives, presuming it was the main version of the album - without realising that the album was released as a 14 track version here in the UK. To me, it feels like a bit of an oversight. Girls Aloud vinyl albums have included the UK bonus tracks!

October 19, 2024Oct 19 Author My copy is secured! I hope I got it off HMV at 8:46 European time 👀 but seems to have gone through. I did in the middle of the night place an order with JPC in Germany but they can be a bit patchy with preorders and limited runs
October 26, 2024Oct 26 My vinyl came the other day. Love the album, the singles are the clear standouts but there’s not a single dud here. I do wish Just Don’t Need This was on the album too though.
November 13, 2024Nov 13 Can someone help with something, I’ve watched the Round Round video via Spotify and there a clips from a film interspersed. This definitely wasn’t in the original video but I can’t find any trace of an alternative video.

November 25, 2024Nov 25 Thanks guys! :lol: As I say, I was watching the video on Spotify and was so confused because I had no recollection of seeing this version before, I couldn’t find anything online about it and the clips of the film just seemed randomly placed. Thought I was going crazy! :lol:
