Orville Peck's version of Born This Way got almost 60k listens on Spotify yesterday despite being available for only few hours in most countries.

Are streams for the new reimagined songs already counting towards Born This Way's total? I don't really get how it works :unsure:

Dunno, they just wrote that it's the streams of the Anniversary album - I would think the singles are not included for now, but when they are attached to the album they will be.

I don't think they are because they are not credited as GaGa songs on Spotify.

I've been informed they definitely won't be counting towards the album YET and then it'll depend when the album comes out how it is re-packaged as to how it will work then I guess. We shall see~

The rerelease streams aren't being counted for her yet but will count when the album comes out as the rerelease of the album will be displayed on her page. She has songwriting credit for all the songs in the re-release and is the owner of the album.

Id love to know how they decided which artists would cover each song and im assuming Lady Gaga herself picked some of them at the least.

Katy Perry would sound good on The Edge of Glory maybe? There's a few options for You & I but TEOG is the one they have to do justice - her best ever single!
