There should be other merch that goes up with the SYBT jumpers

I thought we would've had a SYBT OCC article yesterday for its anniversary. Fingers crossed that we get a singles/albums update in November.

The '25 Years Of Girl Power' radio documentary with Richard E Grant has been re-added to BBC Sounds this week. It'll air on Radio 2 at a ghastly time of 3am on November 3rd but you can catch it whenever here.

^ Hopefully that'll attract some attention from people!

I wonder what they have planned to raise the hype over the next 2-3 weeks? There's 12 days to go until release and I can't help but feel things are a bit flat at the moment?

Yeah, yet again, promo is so limited... They were recording something over the summer with thier Spice personas/character outfits so I guess some sort of video or new photoshoot will come out. But they better start hyping up the promo, cos it's nowhere to be found...

 

I know this is mainly a fan-service thing, but I would hate it to miss the Top10 like the Sugababes one did. It's a very busy period and the main formats - the Zoetrope and the CD - are super expensive so its not like they will be getting loads of random folk buying those two.

 

With the merch also coming soon, I do think they will probably do some announcements soon. They must do some interviews though... It sucks that they wont, at least not as a group.

 

But this is the Spice Girls. They never do promo anymore. For a group that was literally everywhere and performed and did interviews in pretty much every available news outlet back in the day, the fact they do nothing nowadays is so frustrating...

 

I'm not concerned, the official webstore has done well and top 10 really should take many sales to achieve.

 

They definitely filmed something the day of the merch collection pics but I'm not sure what.

There is probably a three sales difference between Scary and the others here, but still seeing her as the last one once again is so annoying. Cannot wait, however, to receive the Scary one :wub:

It's a shame to see her vinyl is the only one not marked as 'sold out' on the official store too :( Hopefully it'll sell more in release week though. [Edit: Just checked, she has 66 copies available]

 

A countdown for a lyric video is intriguing... I hope it's a video that involves the girls, I think that's what would make it special. We'll see...!

It is a shame that Mel B’s vinyl is the lowest seller when she’s arguably the most dedicated spice.

I just checked the quantities of the cassettes available (no doubt giving myself repetitive strain injury in the process x) and there's 752 Emma cassettes and 768 Geri cassettes available. Going to assume it's similar quantities for the other three. Have they greatly overestimated the demand for cassettes? D:
