Seems it might have been pushed back as it's bank holiday and Friday originally was 8 weeks of pre-orders but no one in office or to sort any issues till Tuesday so pushed back till then.

I would be quite surprised that people would go to such lengths to be honest.

 

Not only would it have been pretty well orchestrated but also really tap into a hightened expectation from the fans at large. This is literally what we have been asking for ages, so imagine this is all a lie and we don't get anything next week? Fans would literally kill :blink:

 

So all I am saying is that it better be true, and if it is not true, at least I hope it is something even better. If nothing happens... well...

It's definitely not fake news, you can see the password protected universal spice girls store that Jay linked and the press release to French media is from Universal.

 

The store has to be manually unlocked so it needs someone actually at work.

 

Merch that will be there could be anything but I'd expect more hoodies and tshirts (though universal are much better on price) and anything else a bonus.

 

The picture disc and cassette might not be the only formats there was talk of maybe UK exclusive ones too.

I really hope the store does go live today, I’m ready to throw my money at them...!

Is it normal for acts to announce things on a tuesday though? Any releases Ive seen often get announced Weds or Thursday and go live on Friday....

UMC not happy about the French press leak, going a different route with it now. Hoping to make a big moment of the announcement now hopefully involving the girls if possible. Instead of going for a longer pre-order going for very close to the anniversary maybe even the day of it if they can get the girls involved.
