Welcome to the weekly ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information.

If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder:

SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios:

100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc)

600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc)

ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios:

200 premium streams = 1 sale

1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale

Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR.

The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. The explanations are posted in each update to assist you.

Omg didn’t expect navas to get reset so happy with that! But watermelon sugar is ancient now so didn’t need that to happen <_<

What a rubbish week. 2 songs that really didn’t need a reset and the song I consider to be the worst of the year going back to zero weeks of decline (Astronaut in the Ocean) :(

Feels too soon for Body too.

So even with streams for the whole market increasing by almost 7%, do songs still only need a 25% increase (rather than 32%) to get reset?

You're all lucky Shotgun is more than 3 years old :kink:

They'd need a 32.2% increase (as the streaming market went up by 7.2%). Watermelon Sugar had a 33.8% increase and Believe Me had 32.4%.

poor Body (said no one ever) :)
Did any other songs post sufficient increases if it wasn’t for the three year rule? Wonderwall? Shotgun?
Much as I do like 'Watermelon Sugar' it certainly did not need a reset right now  Navos being reset is also not really necessary but I don't mind it too much, as far as the current generic playlist filler house hits go that's one of the more enjoyable ones, at least it's not 'Friday' or 'Get Out My Head' lol.

Shotgun would have!

I was wondering about that as Blinding Lights and Head & Heart must have been close to the 25%!

Both were just under 25%! We'd have had BED and Get Out My Head reset if 25% was all that was needed (and Mr Brightside without the 3 year rule lol x)

Was Levitating close to reset this time? #18 for such old song is pretty impressive

20.5% increase in streams, a way off what was needed I'm afraid!

How on earth did it manage to have a massive increase?

Surely Body will stay top 10 still even on ACR though :(

Yeah it almost certainly will, for example if it was on acr in this weeks chart it still would have been #7.
