I think Andy Murray would make a fantastic League Two coach!

Indeed, though he would have to get used to making sure the ball hits the back of the net as opposed to going over the net! :P

Barrow have appointed former Hull City boss Phil Brown as manager on a deal until the end of the season to succeed Mark Cooper, who departed on Sunday.

Crawley Town have been fined £1,000 by the Football Association following their 2-1 League Two defeat by Exeter City on Tuesday 15 March.

Crawley admitted a charge of failing to ensure its players "conducted themselves in an orderly fashion" during the 44th minute of the game.

Tim Dieng scored a controversial second goal for Exeter before half-time.

Both Sutton United and Hartlepool United (the two teams promoted last season) have ensured that they won't be relegated this season. I read on Facebook that this continues a trend in that the teams promoted to League 2 have not been relegated a season later since the 1980s - whilst I don't have the energy to confirm/deny this fact, if it's true it's very impressive.

Crawley have suspended manager John Yems over "serious and credible accusations" that he used discriminatory language and behaviour towards his players.

A statement on the club's website said it had been made aware of the allegations against the 62-year-old late on Friday.

"We take these allegations seriously and, effective immediately, have suspended him indefinitely as we investigate and consider further punitive action," it went on.

"Let us be clear: Crawley Town Football Club stands behind our players, employees and supporters, and we will never tolerate racism or discrimination of any kind."

It is understood the Football Association has been made aware of the allegations and is investigating.

Speaking to BBC Radio Sussex on Saturday, Yems said it was "the first he's heard of the allegations", that he "hasn't been contacted directly by the club", and he is not currently in a position to comment - but "hopes to do so early next week".

Oldham's game at home to Salford was abandoned with 11 minutes to play and Salford leading 2-1 after home supporters invaded the pitch. If score at the time is allowed to stand as the result, Oldham are relegated. The difficulty with that is that Salford are still chasing a play-off place. Those three points could be the difference between making the play-offs and missing out.

Update - the players eventually returned to the pitch and finished the match behind closed doors. No further goals so Oldham are the first team to have played in the Premier League to be relegated to the National League.

Indeed. Hope it's not too much of a blow for them and they can settle into non-league life - the Conference National isn't the easiest league to get out of!

In other news, Forest Green Rovers are going up! Wonder if they celebrated with an innocent smoothie (or indeed, a vegan sausage roll)

Some achievement for FGRs to reach the third tier for the first time ever, although their form has dipped since Xmas so if that continues next season they could take a tumble against the big boys in league one!

Meanwhile, the relegation places have been decided in this division. There is still one automatic promotion spot up for grabs as well as the play-off positions. Also who will be crowned League Two champions?

I wouldn't like to call that. My head is spinning at the thought of it.

Mansfield Town are the first of the two teams in the play-off final for this division. A shame for Northampton Town who came so close to automatic promotion to lose out like this.

Port Vale Vs Swindon tomorrow.
