The Chester story is certainly an intriguing one!

If you want goals, it might be an idea to seek out the matches between Hanwell Town and Staines Town next season, assuming they are still in the same division. Earlier this season, Hanwell came from 4-0 down to beat The Staines Massive 6-5 at hoe. The return match at Staines last Tuesday wasn't quite so close - Hanwell won 12-0.

The Chester incident must have brought a bit of publicity to the team if nothing else! Thankfully the Welsh covid rules regarding sports matches are being lifted on the 21st which should hopefully put an end to the dispute.

Staines Town have suspended all primary operations, including fixtures after allegations against their landlord (Downing LLP), including breaches of the Modern Slavery Act.

An interesting story to follow - it must be very difficult being in that situation for such a small club at the bottom of their league.

Congratulations to Dover who won at Boreham Wood yesterday to bring their points tally up to zero. They have finally wiped out the 12-point penalty imposed for failing to complete their fixtures last season.
