'Burning Up' is a huge loss :(

I love how you can sense her fiery passion and determination to make it in that song, before she ended up literally achieving world domination.

There's no rest for us in this world

| 58. American Pie 7.06

| 59. I Don't Search I Find 7.04

| 58. Crave (with Swae Lee) 7.02

Getting into the 7+ averages now and we lose two tracks from Madonna's latest studio album. First out is her collaboration with Swae Lee; Crave tells of someone lusting after another who is running away and it combines a range of genres including pop, trap and hip hop. The song is also inspired by Fado music. It was one of the first songs thought out for the album, but was revamped with Swae Lee's involvement later in the recording process. Also from the album, we lose I Don't Search I Find which was released as the album's fourth single in some countries. Production was done by long-time collaborator Mirwais and the title is inspired by a Picasso quote. It harks back to some of her earlier and most loved works. Finally in this section, we lose American Pie. A cover version of the original song was recorded to promote the soundtrack of M's film The Next Best Thing. It was made into a dancier song with the help of William Orbit. The song was included on Music, but Madonna later regretted its inclusion on that album, stating that it didn't really hold a place on it. The song went on to become a huge #1 single in the UK.

What a set!

The shock is 'I Don't Search I Find' because two years ago, it was rated 24th in the Ultimate Madonna Rate (which also included album tracks) :o The album was very fresh back then so that could explain it! What a banger still though

'American Pie' is a great cover and the one that I associate with the song now but its position here is about right.

Now 'Crave' is FAR TOO LOW. I genuinely think this is one of her best singles period! It's such a beautiful enigmatic song. Total, utter love and I am gutted it's fallen so short here (despite the good average - so I shouldn't complain I guess :P)

I love the song Crave it's really amazing. American Pie is just wonderful song.

I love all three or these tracks.

IDSIF should have been a full single WW. Its a no brainer!!

Swae Lee really elevates crave for me.

Express yourself don't repress yourself

| 53. Who's That Girl 7.21

| 54. Bedtime Story 7.12

| 55. Human Nature 7.06 (more 10s)

Human Nature was the final single released from Bedtime Stories and was her answer to her critics who took issue at her provocative nature during the years that preceeded the album's release. It features a looping sample from Main Source's 'What You Need' and it comes with an S&M inspired music video complete with leather and latex. The third single from the same album drops straight after its fourth. Bedtime Story was written by Bjork and has a trance-like instrumental that stands out on within the context of the album - it is a warped and frenzied experience! The song is about finding joy in the unconscious and unnatural and the video conveys this with its surreal and new age imagery (it was also one of the most expensive music videos made to date). Finally from the soundtrack with the same name, Who's That Girl celebrates Hispanic culture. The song was a #1 hit in the UK and the US and was nominated for a Grammy and a Golden Globe. It's a dance-pop song featuring drums, strings and more.

I loved Who's that girl as a kid

but in perspective its just La Isla bonita part 2 but not as good

Not too bothered by no.58 to no.60 - Don't really like the Madame X album, though I do like the cover of American Pie.

Human Nature is a big loss. Brilliant song... and that video is incredible.

Bedtime Story video is also quite wonderful, but I'm not so keen on song.

Who's That Girl is... Meh.

im surprised those bedtime stories singles are out

i love wtg especially the performance from the tour

Bedtime Story is my favourite from that set - the music video in particular does things to me *.*

I have never been huge on Human Nature or Who's That Girl but happy they've done how they have here.

When I get lost in space, I can return to this place

| 50. Living For Love 7.38

| 51. Nothing Fails 7.37

| 52. I'll Remember 7.27

From the soundtrack for With Honors, I'll Remember marked a drastic change of pace and persona for Madonna following the provocative Erotica era and her Sex book. The song was later included on her ballads compilation album Something to Remember and it was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. The music video showed Madonna in a recording studio with slicked black hair and icy blue eyes, and the video ends with her looking at herself in the studio. Nothing Fails from American Life features an acoustic guitar and a gospel choir arrangement. It's a love song about finding the one but didn't prove to be too successful in the US which continued the theme for the album's success there. Finally, and opening the top 50, it's the lead single from Rebel Heart. Living For Love was part of her infamous return to the Brit Awards stage in the UK (featuring that cape) and it was also performed at the Grammy Awards that year too. A break-up song deep down, but Madonna switched it up and made it a positive, uplifting number instead.

I've always liked I'll Remember, though I thought the look in the video was a "choice".

Living For Love is also great, over-shadowed by the fall at the Brits.

I've never been keen on Nothing Fails.

The fringe in IR lol

I think im going to love every song left!!!

NF the hit that never was in the UK

I really love I'll Remember because it such a amazing song of Madonna.
