figured out this other new dance song added to HH (Rain Radio & DJ Craig Gorman - Talk About) is based on an Nelly Furtado old song!

 

 

OMG, I've been hearing my housemate play this and being surprised he knows the Nelly Furtado song. That explains it.

Quite quiet for new releases today, wouldn’t be surprised if there weren’t any new entries next week lol. Great to see black magic added to HH, big hit incoming :yahoo:

 

Reckon Russ Millions could do well after 'Body' - well at least top 40? Tion Wayne made no.21 with the underwhelming 'Wow'.

I actually quite liked Young Adz' Daily Duppy from a few weeks back, he's not a bad rapper when he's using his natural voice and rapping about slightly more diverse/serious topics than the usual list of crude rap clichés that make up DBE lyrics. I naturally don't expect this to cross over to DBE's actual singles at all.

It’s not the fact I think they are bad rappers, it’s just that thing they have over their voice when they rap, idk what it is like it sounds like some sort of auto tune or something, it’s just terrible lol.

Seeming very likely Ed will be a multi week #1 now then even before Olivia hits ACR.

I’m surprised it’s held up so well I thought it would have a huge first day or two then fall fast but it’s done the opposite

Ed's numbers on Spotify 137k higher than they were on his first day, working its way up towards what we initially expected from its debut :lol: (I think Friday is usually a bigger streaming day than Thursday so likely to increase again tomorrow?)

 

Great to see Brent debuting in the top 40 on Spotify! Meanwhile across the pond it's hit #1 on US Apple Music.

Ed has a 164 million playlist reach on Spotify, that's the highest by far I've ever seen for such a new song!

 

(This isn't shade or me making out that it's payola or anything - before I fire up Sammy03, it's just a stray observation, and shouldn't be too surprising given he's probably the biggest artist in the world)

Ah deliberately mis-spelling my name to try and belittle me because you know what I said about songs taking a few weeks to grow now is actually true.

 

Not surprised to see Ed rising on streaming it's the way things are now that they mostly always grow unless it's a act who only appeals to their fan base and no one else.
