Ha the Kane one was clearly a foul by Kane he kicked through the Danes back leg and fell down like he had been shot 😁

Disagree myself but it's a game of opinions after all!

!!!!!!

Surely Italy will win though? The UK has been awful at tournaments for decades now, whereas Italy has been consistently good. The UK teams are improving now, but surely it will take some time to get to championship-winning leveld?

Italy used to be a top team but they've been even worse than us during the past decade. They didn't even qualify for the 2018 World Cup so this has been an even more remarkable turnaround for them. That said, they should be the favourites, but the fact it's being played at Wembley is a critical factor imo.

Looking at the players England are better but Italy are great as a team which is what makes football the greatest sport. Italy have been poor over the past 10 years but still won the world cup in 2006 and got the the Euros final in 2012 so they are like Holland really one of the traditional powerhouses who sometimes have a poor group and don’t quite make the finals every 15/20 years or so!
Yeah Italy had a very peculiar habit of always reaching major finals exactly every 6 years from 1994 through to 2012 (if you go back they also did so in 1982 & 1970 thus only missing 1976 and 1988 from the sequence). So basically, they're never waiting too long until their next huge final!

I expect to be very dead by the time of the 2076 Euros :(

Itqly scraped past Spain, which is a stronger team, and Denmark beat Denmark with its own goal, so it looks a toss-up on paper, but I'll give it to Italy fpr being consistently stronger PLUS having more experience in finals/ no rabid press pressure.

Italy generally always qualify for World Cups. Their European Championship record is more hit and miss though.
