"this album is all about my Latin roots"

first single underperforms, solution: call Ed :D

who cares bout roots :D

Edited by Bjork

So Ed knows how to play the game - cd singles, Christmas songs, remixes.

But other popstars know how to play the game - get Ed on your track.

Not everything he touches turns to gold, but I didn't mind that snippet to he honest.

The collab we were all praying for

Praying it would never happen.

But they already collaborated on that South of the Border thing

in which Ed already delighted us with some Te Amo Mami shoutouts :)

The Pitchfork review for that South of the Border thing was hilarious:

In an album defined mostly by banality, “South of the Border,” featuring Camila Cabello and Cardi B, is an actual bizarre moment. It’s a Latin-pop fantasy—Sheeran sings of someone’s “caramel thighs” and “curly hair”—punctuated by Cardi’s suggestion that “Ed got a little jungle fever.” Huh? Maybe unintentionally, the raceplay points directly to the elephant in the room: Though he built his fame on confessional, earnest acoustic guitar songs, Ed Sheeran loves black music, and he wants you to know it.

Mess wasn't she teasing a completely different song called Psychofreak literally days before announcing this?

Anyway I ended up really liking Don't Go Yet, it'd be a shame if the whole sound/aesthetic from that has been scrapped.

I'd imagine her label are panicked after how her last few singles have performed and the tour being cancelled.

Not really a fan of Bam Bam which is sad because I was a big fan of the songs from the previous Romance album such as Liar and My Oh My.
I quite liked it the first minute or so, I kept listening expecting an explosive chorus but then it just doesn't go anywhere and the Ed feature really adds nothing. I don't know, overall the whole thing just feels like it doesn't quite fit together which is a bit of a shame honestly.
Love this, verses are great! Will be a hit. Looking forward to the video.
