I just love love love Tabitha so much, she is definitely not the most polished, but everything she says makes me laugh so hard and she is just so incredibly pure. Having said that, Puny is still my absolute favourite and I was shook she was in the lip sync this week, certainly did not deserve that.

This is just a complete and utter bullshit mess :lol: The favoritism towards Vanessa is insane, she was by FAR the worst in that challenge. I don't see how Tabitha was in the bottom because they even said they couldn't stop laughing in the challenge? They should have disqualified Vivaldi and just either not had a lipsync, made Vanessa lipsync but do a double shantay if they must, or even have a top 2 lipsync with Puny and Keta. If they wanted to pull gags, they could have, but it's so unfair to Tabitha and whoever potentially could go over Vivaldi next week that bringing a phone had no consequences. Gimhuay from Drag Race Thailand and ofc Willam got kicked off for less! If they wanted drama and a storyline, they should have had a Vanessa and Vivaldi lipsync. I don't see how Tabitha deserved that at all, is it just them going "f*** it, she has no win, go home"? :lol:

 

I'm finding Vanessa so unlikeable too, I get why she is frustrated at Vivaldi because they all should be, but if she already knew about it, she's not much better for hiding it and just using it now and bringing it out for drama when she has a bad week? Maybe I'm cynical but it's almost like she knew she'd be in the bottom and brought that out hoping Vivaldi would be disqualified and she wouldn't have to lipsync. But the judges seem to think she's such a great performer despite the fact she hasn't done well in anything outside looks so far... I just don't get what she really brings as a queen except her looks. Vivaldi I've not been a fan of this season at all as a person either, I guess at least she seemed remorseful but it's probably more a sorry she got caught scenario.

Vanessa was my favourite in that challenge by far :lol: so I was surprised she was bottom 3 !

Vivaldi not being disqualified was an absolute joke. Also Tabitha going home was so undeserved

Tabitha was definitely funnier than Vanessa for me.

 

They should've done another bottom 3 and let them all battle it out, or just got rid of Vivaldi.

I struggle to think of an elimination as completely bullshit and utterly baffling as Keta. She has not just done well at everything, she has won 3 challenges and frankly deserved to win a fourth with the makover, plus she was clearly the second best in the musical and also I'd argue in this week's acting challenge! Fair enough it was close this week but her runway was not bad enough to change the fact Vanessa was worse, that's twice in a row now she has been saved. Granted, she did have probably the best runway this week, but if them not iking Puny's runway didn't matter, why should Vanessa's matter that much? There is just no sense to anything these judges do, putting Keta in the bottom I feel was a stretch in the first place, but she clearly bodied that lipsync as well.

 

Vanessa's favouritism is really baffling because there is just NOTHING there, she's been forgettable at best in virtually everything and has been very very lucky (read: protected) not to be in the bottom three times now (Rusical, the chat show and now this). I mean yes she can turn a look, that's about it. She shouldn't even have won the makeover, and that's the only thing I think she has done fairly good at alongside the design challenge. Her talent show I just didn't get personally.

So what I've seen they have eliminated the front runner in favour of someone who should have been disqualified last week for breaking the rules?? I love DR Holland but yet again the judging is so weird.

But yeahhhhh this season has been a hot mess. I think its the editing. Why have so many challenges Vanessa is poor at if you want to push her? Overcorrection from Envy's run?

If the copyright thing is a issue they could have shortened the queen's name for the show aka Brita Or Jan on S12 but they didn't lol? So I don't think thats an issue

This season has seen some unhinged choices, but this was definitely the worst. I was convinced Keta would win this, with Puny being a runner-up, and the fact that she got eliminated this soon is mindblowing. She wasn't even bad in the challenge to start with and whilst I was expecting more from the lip sync, Countess got saved a few weeks ago because of 'track record'???

This ep has a rating of 2.1 on IMDB I am DEAD 😂

I've looked at past seasons trying to find an elimination as baffling and as much of a robbery as this one and... I can't :lol: I think maybe Manila in AS4 but I can't count All Stars because that's decided by the queens, so as much as I hated Naomi doing that, that was her choice of strategy and besides, Manila didn't do well in that challenge. It's up there with Shangela being shafted in AS3, however I do think the gays do a bit too much with Shangela in regards to AS3, the twist was bullshit whatever my opinion though. I can't think of anything close to this, someone who has completely dominated the season going home in a challenge they didn't even do badly in, despite clearly doing well in the lipsync. I'd get it if she bombed the lipsync, that would be a bad week and that's all it takes in Drag Race.

 

To me the amount they have protected Vanessa makes me think they want her to win, as I said she should have been bottom both this week and last and arguably the Rusical too but they never really seem to pull her up on it, but if that's the case, they should have done a Ball at some point to maybe get her another win. They surely can't crown someone who did badly at Snatch Game, acting, improv comedy and performance?! She would be the least deserving winner ever in my eyes, nothing against her drag but she doesn't have many, if any, of the qualities a Drag Race winner should have. Granted, Drag Race is a small snippet of drag and possesses be a narrow worldview of drag, but that is the show, and it has its parameters which she just isn't fitting.

It would be like if they all of sudden got rid of Bianca or Bob The Drag Queen...just so weird??

Statistically using the Dusted or Busted performance score calculation, Keta is the only non-finalist to make the top 10 of all time with 7.1. Envy tops this chart with 7.8, if Keta got a safe this week rather than being eliminated, she would statistically be the strongest performing contestant ever with 7.92. For context, Bianca has 7.75!

The winner did good on the runway too but they didnt like their runway and ecen fred even said the challenge is why puny won lmaooo

The thing that annoys me most if they really HAD to keep Vivaldi, why did they not just do a double shantay for a four person finale? They did that last year for a FAR worse lipsync, that Abby/Ma'Ma lipsync to Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) was one of the weakest ever on Drag Race! I know we can be cynical and have so many theories, but I think they've got a winner in mind (probably Vanessa) and Keta was threatening that.

 

I am not annoyed at Puny winning that challenge, but Keta was probably the second best in the challenge so if they hated her outfit that much, and the runway matters that much that Vanessa can be saved, then Puny should have been safe with Keta winning possibly. It just makes no sense and they do this often, remember when ChelseaBoy won Snatch Game and they even said that but they just gave to win to Envy anyway based on runway? :lol: If they're gonna do shit like this with the runway, at least be consistent. Maybe have a challenge winner and runway winner like Drag Race Thailand, and both are safe from elimination. Just don't do a DRT and have it so only the runway really matters and you can go home from winning a challenge :lol:

god flashbacks to that snatch game episode last year got me fuming again lol. the fact they read chelseaboy for not playing up a gender binary on a DRAG SHOW and stripped her of the win because of it..... i'm still mad.
