Jackie Tyler, Rose's mum, now where the HELL is my daughter???? Sliding into the top 10, Jackie was iconic from the start - attempting to flirt with the Doctor while wearing her dressing gown, before slapping him when he brings Rose back a year after their first adventure. Though she was never a companion in the traditional sense, Jackie was involved in numerous adventures - even her parallel self had a slice of the action, but ended up a Cyberman so was much less lucky. She travelled in the TARDIS in Army of Ghosts (unwillingly), even having to pose as her own daughter much to both hers and the Doctor's dismay. Ultimately, Jackie ends up on the parallel Earth with Rose, Mickey and the parallel version of husband Pete, falling pregnant with new baby Tony.

Clara's time to go now - I liked her a lot, particularly with Capaldi (his and Jenna's chemistry was :heart:), but she was written more inconsistently.
