All Around the World is ok but not the same league as their best songs

the best single in the album (Stand By Me) it's the only one that didn't make it to #1

Seems we prefer his Fresh Prince persona to this one.

So here’s the most popular Westlife 90s No 1 on Buzzjack- though hardly flying high.

Instantly cool, then very uncool about 6 months later- back in favour now- thanks Jedward.

Mama Spice Girls (Voter: Just Jack- 15 points, AH Gold- 2 points)- #1 for 3 weeks in March 1997

Well who thought a Spice Girls track would bow out so low?- Not to worry 8 more offerings from them!

Not a shock Mama is so low, it’s the weakest out of the 90s Spice number 1s.
I lost another one today. :( Vanilla Ice was a misunderstood boy.

The only lady to score three chart toppers in the decade loses the second one in this rate. Also the first song to collect 4 voters!

(I Can't Help) Falling In Love With You UB40 (Voter: xajnipi- 11 points, Jack Jones- 7 points)’ #1 for 2 weeks in June 1993

5Ylnyhd.jpg

Their sole chart topper of the 90s was this Elvis cover.

Because we Want To Billie (Voter: AaronTM)- #1 for 1 week in July 1998

Billie’s first No 1 is the also the first to leave the rate!

NO 139- 18 POINTS

The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss) Cher (Voter: Hide & Seek- 3 points, AaronTM- 4 points, Just Jack- 6 points, Ready For It- 5 points)- #1 for 5 weeks in May/ June 1991

The only lady to score three chart toppers in the decade loses the second one in this rate. Also the first song to collect 4 voters!

While I'm not saying if I voted for her or not, I'm expecting Cher's Believe to be top 10 or at least top 20 in this. :P

UB40's version of (I Can't Help) Falling In Love With You is beautiful imo. So I'm actually pleased it got some points.

Oops I single-handedly saved 'Three Lions '98' from 0 points *_* sorry not sorry, I have always preferred it to the original :kink:

'The Real Thing' and 'Men In Black' are the songs that came closest to making my votes since I last commented!

Ronan’s first solo No 1 is more popular than all but 1 of Boyzone’s chart toppers.

I think this countdown is confirming the best years for music in the 90s was 1994-98!

Songs left per year:

1990- 11 lost 8 (57% left)

1991- 10 lost 7 (58% left)

1192- 7 lost 6 (53% left)

1993-12 lost 3 (80% left)

1994- 7 lost 8 (46% left)

1995- 11 lost 8 (57% left)

1996- 16 lost 10 (61% left)

1997- 16 lost 10 (61% left)

1998- 17 lost 14 (54% left)

1999- 24 lost 14 (63% left)

Statistically 1993,1999 and 1996, 1997 are our preferred years so far!

No more votes of mine dropping out there but 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go?' is my favourite of that lot. The power of Levi's jeans adverts :o
I didn’t vote for The Clash as I felt it was a 80s song!

Ah my first loss there. I think Goodnight Girl is lovely. :nocheer:

Definitely a much higher standard of songs dropping out in the last few days!

my first loss too with Would I Lie to You
Is the Charles and Eddie track a cover or an original?
