Posted August 6, 20213 yr Hello and WELCOME . We’re starting later than normal this year but feel now is the perfect time for our THIRD AF Idol. Although last year was a roaring success and even more successful than the first one, we’ve decided to make a couple of changes. CHANGES • ROUNDS > We have reduced the number of rounds to TEN rounds now < • ELIMINATIONS > We will still have eliminations but for the first five rounds there will be no eliminations, following this the bottom half will be eliminated . < We FULLY encourage all discussion to take part in the artist forums, so whilst a few of the forum moderators have been discussing in private about a plan/potentials list, your feedback is thoroughly appreciated and we want all of your thoughts and opinions on what to send etc.. We want to boost post counts for all of the forums, so please play along and discuss with the moderators in the relevant topics in their forums. --- ROUND 1: FREE CHOICE > ANY SONG BY YOUR ARTIST < • Moderators you have a little over 24 HOURS - [23:59 | 7th August 2021] to get your entries PM'd to Lee,Jonjo,Sam,Joseph or Jay! • Failure to do so will result in the Artist Forum Inner Circle making the choices - therefore, potentially sending entries you might not like us to! August 8, 20213 yr I’m a bit sad that the eliminations have changed, the lack of them was what kept me disconnected from the spin off! But I’m still excited for this to go ahead!

It's something that we've had long discussions about so we decided to go down the middle so we can showcase more of an artist rather than be eliminated with one song! There will still be a huge amount of eliminations after round 5 though with 24 AF's going down to 12!
