The loving kind is one of my favourite girls aloud tracks

I always remember that bum note from Sarah on good morning Britain or whatever it was - feel quite nostalgic about it now

I agree. I was saying to Jay and Spiceboy earlier that the Loving Kind and Untouchable are my two favourite GA songs. I adored the direction they were headed music wise when they split up 😭

The Loving Kind has a tempo of 125 BPM which isn't mid-tempo

While Whole Lotta History has a tempo of 135 BPM apparently...

We're not using BPM to decide this because clearly BPM is a somewhat dodgy way of deciding what is and isn't a ballad, midtempo, etc.

I know! I was so frustrated when they split - I loved that album so much and I felt like they were building momentum and moving towards some kind of re-peak. Although I did love Cheryl’s early solo work. That performance on X factor :o

Forever iconic :cheeseblock:

This is never not hilarious, Sarah’s trying to laugh “for f***s sake nod” followed by Cheryls own trying not to laugh smirk 😏😅😂

Me too I really think they split at the wrong time,, they were on fire sound wise and music direction.

Round 5 is free choice! GA have been doing so well so far, let's keep that going with another smash *.*

This was the round we'd pencilled Untouchable in for but open to suggestions!

Untouchable  Album version or single version?

Results so far:

Round 1: 4th (tied) [42/60] Sound of the Underground (Free choice)

Round 2: 5th (tied) [34/53] On the Metro (Album track)

Round 3: 1st [40/53] No Good Advice (Free choice - previously unsent songs)

Round 4: 9th [38/56] The Loving Kind (Ballads & midtempos)

No Good Advice winning its round is still such a pleasant surprise :cheeseblock:

I'd lean to album version tbh! The single mix seems less popular and I'm not sure the length will be too big an issue when Sign of the Times did well and that's almost as long.
Definitely the album version, the single version is so disappointing compared to the 6 minutes of heaven that is the album version.
