Desperate for them to beat the record of highest number of top 10s by a GG held by Girls Aloud.

 

I don’t want them to beat it, I like that five major girl bands have different records:

- Little Mix - highest single sales and overall record sales of any girl band

- Spice Girls - highest album sales and the most #1s

- Girls Aloud - most top 10s

- Sugababes - most triple platinum albums

- Atomic Kitten - only girl band to have a top 20 in 3 different decades (and top 40 in 4)

tbh i think they'll eventually beat the Girls Aloud record as well - lsl is a blip but i feel like others will be pushed more when they can actively promote or are ready to

They'll beat GA for most top 10's - they're only a few behind.

Well, Girls Aloud will still hold the record for the most consecutive Top 10 singles.

Do what steps do and do a whole digital remix package for an extra £4.99 with a CD.

 

Like come on there's so much they can do to Capitalise on the fanbase.

The album definitely seems to have taken a back seat whilst they’ve been promoting LSL. I know they wanted to announce it on the anniversary but I think it was too early as all the hype is gone now. For example with Confetti, they announced it a year ago today with less than two months till release and they had the promo songs and Sweet Melody to keep the hype going. But with LSL flopping, I’m not sure announcing more bundles is gonna be enough to keep the excitement up and the sales coming in for Between Us.

I really, really hope we get a huge megamix! The Saturdays and Girls Aloud megamixes are SG!

There’s still 8 weeks to the album I imagine they’ll start pumping things out in October. What’s the point of trying to promote things when all of the attention is on bigger releases that stick around for like 4 weeks (Drake and co.)

I think they should have put some collectables in with some of the bundles. Like prints of artwork for each of the singles and you’d have to get several different formats to collect them all. Or something like that seeing as the hardcore fans are the ones buying the different formats.

I think a #1 for this was out of the question way before he even announced tbh. There’s so many big releases coming. (Ed, Abba and possibly even Adele) I just hope it doesn’t debut too low as even though it’s not a whole new album i still want it to be successful. (Which i’m sure it will be)

Lol. Q4 is looking so stacked, especially if Adele releases. At this point I’m just hoping they can be in the top 3 so they continue their run of top 3 albums.

TBH, I was still hopeful that they could go #1 even with ABBA and ED. Album sales depend a lot on physicals. The amazing and jaw-deopping pre-orders of Ed and ABBA I'd expect would be shipped in their first weeks. Little Mix is still huge enough to move reasonably big numbers in their first week. Of course I'd be naive to think they'd be on top beyond one week as ABBA and Ed (especially Ed) will return on top. Adele is still a rumour. So yes I still had a bit of hope. But now with Rod, I don't know anymore lol. How can the most talented girl group the UK has produced in the last 30 years only have one number one album? That's just sacrilege!
