The fan-made designs are always incredible, these two are my favourites:

Interested to know what bonus material we'll get for her first album and 'Like a Virgin' as there doesn't appear to be many known unreleased tracks. There's 'Ain't No Big Deal' which was later used as a B-side to 'Papa Don't Preach', a song called 'Warning Signs' that was scrapped from the Vision Quest soundtrack and a title track for the Desperately Seeking Susan soundtrack. I guess it'll mostly be extended versions and perhaps demo versions.

The albums I'm most looking forward to are 'Like a Prayer', 'Erotica', 'Ray of Light' and 'Music' as they seem to have the most and best unreleased material.

One year since the reissues were announced! And still nothing. I'm hoping we might get confirmation of the first reissue today.

I notice that National Album Day 2022 will be celebrating debut albums which falls on 15th October, a week after Madonna celebrates 40 years since 'Everybody'. Maybe the first reissue will be of her debut album and tie in with this?

Naturally, a compilation was the least she could do. Finally kicks off a multi-year initiative to reissue all her past albums, remastered, which will include previously unheard versions and rarities so mythic the reveal of them could send certain corners of the Madonna fandom into bouts of foaming-at-the-mouth hysteria.

Omg!

:cheeseblock: I'm so ready!

I really hope there'll be attention to detail with the quality of the artworks for the reissues though. Some of her vinyl reissues in recent years were poor quality in that regard.

When are we actually going to hear news of the first reissue? Thought there would be an announcement on her birthday and then I thought we’d hear something on the anniversary of Everybody. Presumably we are getting the first reissue this year still?
^ I think the remix compilation was the first release under the new deal. Her debut album will likely be reissued next year to mark its 40th year anniversary.
Looking forward to the deluxe reissues but I really hope they don’t include any of the awful new remixes that have been floating around on iTunes. I heard a remix of frozen and it completely ruined the song.

Don’t know if this is a reliable source or not but a user on PopJustice has said this about the reissues:

The first reissue is coming this july/august with the tour and it's gonna be the first album. For what I know they are going to release them in chronological order. Also the same team that is working on the Prince reissues is working on the Madonna ones.
Don’t know if this is a reliable source or not but a user on PopJustice has said this about the reissues:

Well hope it’s true and that we get cd formats as many other artists like Cher are only reissuing on vinyl or digital only.

I am conflicted by this. I have most of her albums on vinyl so I am not sure if I can afford to buy them all again but it largely depends on what we get with the releases. If there's bonus tracks and great packaging at a decent price, I am in. If not, I may have to resist getting them.

I’m happy to get Like a Prayer but don’t have any desire for the others as the quality of the ones I have are just fine.

I may be tempted by a CD package but I’m not sure that Madonna has the same trove of material to bring out for a super deluxe style reissue

Even before these reissues were announced, I was purposely holding off purchasing Madonna albums on vinyl in hope we would one day get expanded editions. I think they will be worth buying again for those who already own the albums on vinyl, I’m pretty sure the press release said Warner had the full vaults of Madonna music available to them and little titbits of information since have inferred we will be getting unreleased stuff on these albums.
I think we’ll find that, if it is anything like Prince, there will be an updated standard vinyl for roughly £35, a standard CD, we’ll have an expanded CD set for £20 or so and then a super deluxe boxed version on vinyl which will be about £150. I don’t particularly want the bonus stuff on vinyl so there’s no way I’m getting the expensive versions just to sit on a shelf - I’m excited to potentially have more material available but I’m content to stream that and download any I’m really enjoying - which often on these things isn’t that many as demos etc don’t make for repeated listens usually. I’ll wait to see the reviews of the standard vinyl, if fans post about it being a real step up in terms of quality or sound then I may bite for some of them.

From a source on MadonnaTribe:

Madonna's team are working very hard in insane levels of detail on putting together the tracklistings including some nice surprises. Rhino will just receive what M's team put together. A LOT of hard work has gone into locating specific edits and versions from very exhaustive lists for example - it will be for M to decide what actually goes out and for Rhino to decide commercially what makes sense in terms of number of physical discs (if they go down a physical product route - I have zero info on the product side of things).

I can guarantee that the track listings suggested are exhaustive.
