I'm going to hazard a guess that Victorious may be a cover of the Lina Hedlund song from Melodifestivalen 2019, I could completely hear them on that *.* Perhaps A Million Years could also be the Mariette song.

So would this release be classed as a new album or count towards the original?

New album as it doesn’t include the original tracking list.

Hopefully 10 September turns out to be a quiet week and they can sneak a No.1.

I'm surprised they didn't just go with a new title as that might attract more sales (to casual observers this may just look like a deluxe edition) but I guess they couldn't due to the tour being called What The Future Holds.

Gosh the lack of Lisa in the Heartbreak in This City video is horrendous... and Michelle trying to slot into her place noooooooo!

I kinda wish they had given the album a whole new name since it's actually a whole new album really, but then none of the tracks particularly appeal to me as titles Wasted Tears maybe? Kiss of Life? Victorious would probably be the best option. Great we are getting a new album though, and so quickly! Hope it can sneak #1, I kinda feel it will get a lot less sales due to it having *part two* in it, can see it performing like Tears On The Dancefloor: Crying at the disco version and going top 10.

Delighted we are getting this but i wonder why they are waiting so long to release it, maybe by then they think covid will be well suppressed and they can do promo etc.

As for the new songs, I think it’s looking very likely that we are getting not one but TWO Melodifestivalen BOPS with A Million Years (Mariette) and Victorious (Lina Hedlund)

Both seem very Steps and in line with their recent output so could be promising ^_^

A Million songs was written by Darren Hayes (Savage Garden)

I hope not, if we're only getting 10 songs then having 20% of it covers would be rather lazy.

Well I thought we might get a reissue but this is much more than I was expecting. Love the album so looking forward to hearing part 2.

I think then Darren Hayes one is A hundred years of winter, not a million years!

Could also be a cover of Victorious by Linda Bengtzing and Velvet, which would also suit their sound, but I’m hoping for Lina Hedlund as all this wonderful schlager deserves exposure outside Sweden and the Eurovision fanbase <3

I mean Something In Your Eyes was a cover and I consider it their career best!

I 100% agree Tbf, still would prefer them to have more original songs to their name though.

Their originals such as neon blue are brilliant so they can def still come up with the goods, I like in ways how when they do covers since they reformed they are not always songs the general public would necessarily know were covers, bit like kylie when she did on a night like this.

On a night like this is a cover!?!?!?  I had no idea

But yes I agree I think it's very clever of them to do covers of songs not many of the general public will know.
