I'm sure this is the calm before the storm! There's still 8 weeks to go until album release. I would expect them to get to work on this upcoming album in August. Remember that they actually already launched this era with Heartbreak in This City, which got a Graham Norton performance. It may have been months ago, but that's when they chose to put the album pre-orders up... so technically the initial groundwork was done back then.
True, I mean there’s still plenty of time. Also for some reason I still think of Heartbreak In This City as a Part 1 single even though it technically isn’t.
Let’s say Lisa can’t get over to promote the new single, but Diana Ross was able to make it over to promote her single…

And then some big wig in Tellywood got them on the same show…

Then decided to get them to perform Chain Reaction together…

Imagine how iconic THAT would be…

Ooo, I'd love that honestly, well as long as it was the Steps Version

The Steps version is a must.

That said, if this was to happen, it could be a brand new version.

Everytime I see a reply in this thread I think it's new information about the album or promo

Same here. I still hope for a release this week. Anyway, I can't imagine we get two singles and three grats ahead of album release like last time. Maybe one single and two grats...

I assume Diana Ross will have momentum over Steps. I was surprised her comeback single was on official sales chart for more than just one week, so there is a big chance she might top album charts in September.

How amazing if this is the 'Track 11' on the album!

And I really hope they hit #1 with this album (so that they have one in four decades).

Hopefully we'll get some information soon!

I am keep everything crossed, I don't think I've ever wanted anyone to get a #1 more! Would be such an amazing achievement!

I almost want this as much as I wanted kylie doing it for 5 consecutive decades,, I really hope the label and steps themselves pull out all the stops to achieve it.

I was thinking the exact same thing! Seeing Kylie hit that record was fantastic (and so deserved, obviously) and I want this to happen for Steps as well. I mean, who would have thought when 5, 6, 7, 8 came out, they would be in the running to get #1 albums in four different decades  I am sure neither them or the record label expected anything like this to happen.

Would it make them the only 90’s band to achieve it if they manage it? The only other one I can think of is Take That and obviously they haven’t done it yet.

No one one of have predicted this plus I think at the time even after a couple of big singles most thought they would fade away quickly and never be heard of again, I love when the underdogs make successful comebacks, steps and take that are great examples. Also back in the late 90s most all wrote kylie off and she came back bigger than she ever was.

Are your expectations for part 2 inferior or superior to what was served on part 1?
