Phixx were the 5 lads who didn't make it into One True Voice, but they outdid them with this banger in all honesty. What a song.

I was obsessed, rather enjoyed their output especially their cover of Wild Boys

 

I loved Hold on Me! and the video was very appealing to me. I didn’t much care for any of the songs that followed it up though.

I absolutely adored Love Revolution at the time.

Hold on Me was definitely a tune!!

I loved their album Electrophonic Revolution. The singles were all bops, but some of the album tracks were killer too. Loved City Of The Night especially.

Didn't they get into trouble with their Top of the Pops performance for 'Hold On Me'?

Yes!! Hold on Me is brilliant - I didn’t give it a proper hearing at the time but discovered it quite recently when revisiting some 2003 hits. It really stands out and sounds so fresh now compared to a lot of the other stuff of that time.
