Joel Corry & Jax Jones’ collaboration Out Out is heading for this week’s Official Singles Chart Top 5, reaching Number 5 on the Official Chart: First Look.

The song, which features Charli XCX and Saweetie, is quickly rising up the Official Singles Chart, already up five places on last week.

The track still has a way to go to knock Ed Sheeran’s Bad Habits off the Number 1 spot however, as Bad Habits – now Ed’s second-longest reigning Number 1 single ever behind 2017’s 14-week chart-topper Shape Of You – pulls ahead in this week’s race as it continues to lead on both digital downloads and streams.

Anne-Marie & Little Mix’s Kiss My (Uh Oh) flies six places to Number 8 on the First Look following a ‘Girl Power' remix featuring Becky Hill, Raye and Stefflon Don, while Tones & I’s Fly Away rises four to Number 9.

Butter by BTS could return to the Official Chart this week thanks to a new remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion, at Number 14 today.

Finally, Sigala & Rita Ora’s You For Me is up six places at Number 20 – a potential new peak for the rising collab which would be Sigala’s 11th Top 20 single and Rita Ora’s 17th.

Really intrigued to see how Jo O Meara performs in the albums, I wonder if she will manage to crack the top40?

Its hard to predict, if nothing else im expecting her to be comfortably top 40 in at least the first mids.

If Bad Habits is number 1on Friday, it will be the 10th song in chart history to be number 1 for at least 10 consecutive weeks.

Would also make Ed the first act in history to reach the milestone with 2 different songs (the fact that Drake was denied the achievement because of God's Plan going on ACR on its 10th week when it should've been #1 notwithstanding)

Wow surprised about Maisie! Thought it would struggle, good for her, it'd a solid pop album.

Worried about Halsey, really think it will struggle.

wow that's great for maisie! loving her album atm <3

hoping becky & halsey get a decent debut too!

from the OCC FB page

It’s a five-way battle for Number 1 on this week’s Official Albums Chart, as Chvrches, Maisie Peters, Kanye West, Halsey and Becky Hill sit fewer than 2,000 chart sales apart with their brand new releases.

On today’s Official Albums Chart Update, Chvrches’ fourth studio album Screen Violence is leading the way, currently the biggest seller on physical formats. If it can hold on it will mark the Scottish band’s first Number 1, and fourth Top 10 album.

I've got a feeling Becky will be #1 initially? Unless there is anything im forgetting about.

^Chrvches

so right now it's:

1 Chvrches

2 Maisie Peters

3 Kanye West

4 Halsey

5 Becky

sales must be very very low if KW is already #3 with only half a day of streams, he will be #1 easily come Friday I reckon

Oh idk why I expected Becky to do better! Would be happy of any of those to be #1 except Kanye tbh, a gross person and the material from what I've listened is completely subpar.

Newies in singles

Kanye West at #26 with Jail, #35 with Off the Grid and #36 with Hurricane

Becky Hill & Topic in at #32

there'd also a re-entry from Butter at #22

The OCC mids page is updated now...

Lorde down to #31 in albums already :/
