An even slower start on Apple for Ed than last time, by this point Bad Habits was #3 or #4. Obviously it doesn't mean anything but... it'd be typical if his best song (for me) in ages was the first not to do his usual numbers lol.

Not forgetting there are currently 10 drake album tracks above it, it would be #13 with the 3 track rule applied. It’s all about his numbers on Spotify tomorrow which will determine if he genuinely is gonna be challenging for #1 next week.

Luckily for Ed, he can afford to have a significantly lower first week than he did for 'Bad Habits' and still get #1 this time :lol:

Lets not forget that Shivers also has a signed CD single that will be sure to boost sales lol

Pretty much every song needs a while to grow these days, Ed just starts off in an incredibly high position to grow from.

I highly doubt it lol, even Bad Habits only did 26k pure sales (not sure how many of those came from the physical). Luckily, though, he should only need around 50,000 total chart sales to secure the #1 this week.

I don't think a single person wrote it off in its first week? Lots of people just recognised it would be an easy smash, but was off to a slower start than most of his previous singles/some other artists that year. I think I saw one person saying it was going to flop based on that.

Little Mix underwhelming new single is performing disastrously.

2 posters in particular were saying it would only get 1 week at number 1 and it would peak week 1 and drop. Now it's done 11 weeks at number 1 and it's sales peak was week 3 I believe.
