November 24, 20213 yr Author They were on BBC Breakfast just now - they showed a clip of the new video for "Postcard" which is from their tour. They also confirmed they'll perform it for the first time on the Strictly results show on 5th December.
November 26, 20213 yr Author "Postcard" video is out and the single is also straight onto the B list at Radio 2: fSLQqhsImkk They've also created a quite clever little minisite tied into the single where you can quite literally write them a postcard: https://postcard.jlsofficial.com
November 29, 20213 yr Author Guests and performing on Sunday Brunch next week on Channel 4. Also playing several songs live into Zoe Ball breakfast show on Radio 2 this Friday.
November 29, 20213 yr A friend went to see them in Manchester last week, she said they were very good.
December 3, 20213 yr Author Album out today! Had it on a couple of times already. "Glow", "Changed", "Tango" and "Immortal Love" are my favourites so far. Beautiful live session into Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on Radio 2 this morning - they did "Eternal Love", "Everybody In Love" and "Last Christmas" (including JB's iconic 'MERRY CHRISTMAS'!) They've taken a leaf out of Steps' book and done a deluxe digital edition of the album on their official store: https://jls.tmstor.es They're also on Lorraine on ITV next Thursday.
December 3, 20213 yr Bomb incoming? Or is the disinterest from Buzzjack not indicative of its success?
December 3, 20213 yr I can't see it doing amazingly tbh. It's an alright album with a handful of quite well-crafted songs but it just sounds a bit dated in the current climate.
December 5, 20213 yr Author "Postcard" on Strictly tonight. They all looked sharp here! G8zgXvcbnk0 They also performed "Day One" acoustically into Sunday Brunch today.
December 6, 20213 yr Author Guests on Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp tomorrow morning: @1467932445739782151 Edited December 6, 20213 yr by ThePensmith
December 6, 20213 yr Bomb incoming? Or is the disinterest from Buzzjack not indicative of its success? I don't think they were ever the most popular act on Buzzjack regardless.
December 6, 20213 yr This album's kinda disappointing. If some of the songs being corny is not the major issue here, it's the bad production values. Way too compressed and/or too much tinkering (loud kicks, ear-fatiguing trebles, etc.). The singles were not great, some of the album tracks were better ('Audition' in particular is amusing). Makes me think JLS should've left their legacy untouched after their greatest hits in 2013. Edit: And also, the album title is confusing. '2.0' comes across as a second album, not their "second run". December 6, 20213 yr Tango is an absolute BOP but in typical JLS fashion, it’s a very hit and miss album.
December 6, 20213 yr Shocked to see them at #2 in the mids but then again they seem to have a lot of bundles and variations of the album (BMG are great with formats when it comes to album releases). The album is now £6.99 on iTunes too.
December 6, 20213 yr Author Lovely to see this at #2 in midweeks, especially after my slightly gloomier prediction earlier in this thread. It's a great album and they deserve it 👍
