Hardly rude it is an opinion. Should everyone just praise him for something that maybe wasn’t as good?

If you haven’t got anything nice to say then sometimes it’s best to say nothing at all.

I’m not sure why anyone would want to directly tell someone their work is rubbish.

He saw it on my Instagram, I didn’t say it to him…

And actually, while I’m at it, I didn’t say the album was bad in the slightest…

One it wasn’t directly. Two he never said it was rubbish just that it was a step down from previous releases. Three maybe it would give them incentive to record something better the following time, you can’t react to criticism without receiving it in the first place.

Whether it's good or not is subjective anyway. It seems your opinion in this case was unsolicited; Oritse wouldn't take advice from you so why would he take criticism?

There's a few things that will give them "incentive to record something better" and a random comment on Instagram isn't one.

Looooool it wasn't me  For a start I don't even own a JLS album to have an opinion on, the most I did was download a few singles when the GH was released.

Also if they don't listen to fans then more fool them at the end of the day as those are the ones they need to please. Melanie C changed her album cover after fans said the Stages one was terrible for instance (sadly didn't make up for it being a terrible album  )

Apologies. Got confused there for a bit.

You obviously want to know how the fans thought but there's a way to put things across.

I’ve since heard that they’ve had a bit of a u-turn on that decision and there will be a new album/tour next year! But they’re waiting for the “right song” to be given to them as the lead single lol.

Eternal Love was SUCH a good comeback song for them so I can totally understand them wanting to find the right track.

Well that's lovely to hear! Hopefully they do find the right song soon. I'm seeing Aston on his next solo tour at Islington Academy in May.

JLS boys retweeting potential announcement speculation tweets - any insiders here confirm or deny anything?

WELL!!! My London source has all the DEETS!

Right! So! Guess what! JLS are indeed making a comeback! They are going for All Saints Rock Steady, stessy no.3 hit, style success, but for everything - album, teo singles, with one lower post-album singme. They are DESPERATE to avoid Chick Fit style levels of floppage. They DEFINITELY don't want 2008 Spice Flops level of comeback floppage though! :cheeseblock:

That's why they want Shaznay Lewis to qrite foe them, but DEFINITELY not not Geri Halliwell!

They are going to premiere every single new song on Sam Ryder's TikTok! Each sang will feature a new singer. First, Ryder, secon, they will feature on Adele's new single, third Doja Cat.

The first single will be a reinterpretation of Hills Are Alive (With The Sound of Music)/ Sound Of The Underground. Second as a cover of Stomp, third If You Wanna Have Some Fun/ Legally Blonde main theme.

Just seen myself - so it's true then!

I guess it's time for a new topic if someone would be kind enough to merge the replies from here at all?
