CHVRCHES a fairly comfortable 1st place here for me but 2nd through 4th is close between Lorde, The Killers and Halsey (all three of those have 2 or 3 duds on them but are mostly consistent, Halsey missing out in the end because the best song on it isn't as good as the best song on the other two ('Fallen Fruit' / 'West Hills')). Also a shoutout to Deafheaven's album (it has the same problem as black midi earlier in the year for me, having a couple of songs I didn't really care for which brings it down a lot considering how few songs there are in total), plus Kanye's if you remove like half of the tracklist xx

+2 Lorde - Solar Power

+1 Tinashe - 333

I've missed a few of these but I wanted to make sure Tinashe gets a boost!

I’m glad as it means I can make a more informed choice if there’s a lot of decent albums I’ve listened to by making my choice a few weeks afterwards!
