Yeah, it was only the single released on the 12th. Album is out today.

 

I am enjoying the If I Can’t Have You cover, though I am surprised they haven’t made it more festive/Christmas themed. Sticks out a bit on a Christmas album.

I hope she can be top 100 this time next week.

I’ve spent the past however many years stanning her… it’s changed alot over the past year or so with the lack of output.. so I havnt at all been interested by this ‘re-release’ .. 2 songs and a new cover, just doesn’t seem right..

but I’ve just listened to ‘If I can’t have you’ and I think it’s so beautiful. Re-ignited my love for her !

This album didn't need a reissue.

This is one of the strangest reissues I’ve come across. Only 2 new tracks and no physical CD. No promotion at all. What on earth were the record company thinking?

Ya it makes no sense at all, I expected so much more from the new version.

It suggests that the Ne-Yo duet came about after the vinyl had already been sent for pressing.

 

Admittedly a bit weird and misleading for this re-release to promoted with a song version that isn’t on the physical!

I’ll always love and support her though so I’ll be purchasing the new edition of the Christmas album I hope it can rechart even if it’s in the lower regions of the top 100 I’d be happy.

I love Leona too but there’s no hiding from the fact this is a very poorly handed release. Should’ve probably,y just been a stand alone single.

I think I'd have rather she just printed the original on Vinyl and then re-pushed One More Sleep and maybe even recorded a more fun video for it.

Back in the UK Top 200 at 151 with 59,000 streams.

Unfortunately the album isn't Top 200 in the mids, oops. She's therefore sold less than 334 copies this week. Probably not surprising... the vinyl must be very niche interest and the promotion hasn't been great.

Initially I expected a possible top 40 for this until I learned there was no cd release but I expected top 100.

I am not surprised sadly. Can’t see anyone bar die hard fans going out of their way to get the vinyl and hardly incentive to stream the whole album for the sake of two songs.

 

Hopefully it will sell ok in December still when most people start listening to Christmas music regularly and casual audiences are buying Xmas albums. The CD should be selling for pretty cheap these days.
