November 21, 20213 yr I need to catch up on this series. I feel a bit Drag Race fatigued at the moment. It feels like so many series’ after each other. Maybe I’ll binge post Drag Race UK finishes :D Good to hear that it’s good though!
November 21, 20213 yr I’m glad that the clique are starting to be eliminated now. i feel like they really showed how a clique should be ! they never excluded anyone and always uplifted the other competitors. apart from all having slightly inflated opinions of themselves i think they are all v likeable. sad to see synthia go. one of my all time favourite songs for the lipsync made me happy and they both turned it out! hope kendall can break thru and win a challenge soon. starting to be quite hard to justify her being there based on the strength of the other queens. her and icesis are both being favoured a little too much i think. the way things are going i can see icesis winning with pythia and gia top 3

November 22, 20213 yr Finding this season really boring. I genuinely preferred Season 1 I think it had a better cast ! I loved Synthia she is incredibly talented and very over looked this season !
November 22, 20213 yr Synthia had such a weird edit, kinda reminds me of Elektra Shock. They consistently didn't give her the credit when she did well except when they absolutely had to in Snatch Game because she smashed it out of the park and demolished everyone else (much like Elektra with the commercial challenge). You'd have thought winning Snatch Game showed she had what it takes, but instead they treated that like a blip and she was back to being treated as a filler kind of queen. She easily could have had a SAFE-HIGH-LOW-WIN-HIGH-BTM2 track record, with Kendall taking her bottom slot for both the acting and girl group challenges. She has had great confessionals and been really funny in mini challenges/in the workroom, her runways aren't the greatest but everyone always says how much personality matters in this show and Synthia is a prime example. It's odd that someone who shone so much, and had such personality to bring to the show, was treated like filler, but she kinda was? She would have ATE the roast next week too! Meanwhile they seem to be giving Kendall infinite chances based on very little, other than doing solidly in the Rusical (high was a bit of a stretch), she hasn't stood out at all in any respect. Perfectly likeable person but with such a high standard and a great cast, she really feels like an odd one out.

Second of all, her Rusical performance was really strong and deserved a high. But I agree. This was a weird decision and I'll miss her there. Kendall is okay but she's not gonna last much longer surely.
November 25, 20213 yr I watched the first ep last night and really enjoyed it. Really liking the new judges as well. The mix of Queens seems right and it feels a bit like a breath of fresh air after the last US and even this UK series (which has been very hit and miss).
November 25, 20213 yr Do you know what else I find really refreshing, the fact it is just a straight-up series of Drag Race! No twists, no dragging out the series with non-eliminations etc., it's just the challenges, the winner of that challenge, the bottom 2 lipsync and someone goes home. Obviously it's fine if they were to do a double shantay or sashay, but I don't feel anything so far has been particularly worthy of that, they've just let the show play out. There's been less questionable judging too other than Synthia being bottom for Bye Flop, pretty much every facet of the show has been refreshing compared to how UK3 has been handled, and aspects of other shows in the franchise, but especially UK3 as I can't help but compare when they both air concurrently.
November 26, 20213 yr Icesis MURDERED that roast, I just wish that she didn't go over the time because she would have got that win. Kendall was solid but I don't think it was as great as the judges make out and I still don't think she is up to the same level as the others. As much as I love Pythia, I'm astounded she avoided the bottom this week! She did have probably the best runway but that roast was awful. Gia's was almost better just because it was one of those really cringe awkward ones like Laganja or Farrah Moan. I don't think Kimora's was that bad either, she had the jokes it was just maybe an iffy decision to deliver it how she did, and it was her time to go if she had totally clocked out like that. What was that lipsync song and lipsync though? :lol: Kimora if she had really given up should have just refused the lipsync or something, like Inti or Dovima from Drag Race España.

December 3, 20213 yr That was such a lovely, wholesome episode. It was amazing to see those queer young people living their best lives and belong on that stage. I can't believe it took this long to have a makeover like this, my heart was so full watching all of that. I kinda wish it was a double shantay but I do think Icesis won that, it would have been nice to have to fit with the vibe of the episode being lovely and wholesome. BUT how on earth was Icesis bottom 2 over Kendall?? She served something different to what she's done so far and her daughter looked AMAZING. Kendall's dress for her daughter was horrible imo, and when they mentioned it was a design challenge I thought that would matter, plus she's already done the Kris Jenner thing. I always hate when they go on about "story" on a makeover runway when for me it should be more about the looks as that's a hard enough thing to do on someone else, alongside yourself. I guess it's storyline for Icesis after she won the other two look/design challenges and has that little rivalry with Pythia over it? I get you do need a bit of a story but when the outfit looked like that, that should be enough. I did love the story and connection Kendall had with Ethan/Stormi, but that look was not good at all and I think that should outweigh in what they said was a design challenge. Pythia ATE that though and deservedly had that win, the fact she made two matching outfits and brought out everything her child wanted was amazing. I can't decide whether I want her or Icesis to win with Gia as a strong All Stars contender but I'd still be fine if she did win! Kendall is lovely but again, she is so far behind and has done badly or average at nearly everything and just is not on that same level as the other three.
