November 5, 20213 yr That was a kinda disappointing Snatch Game overall given how good the cast is, Synthia dominated though, that was brilliant! She brought absolutely everything you want from a Snatch Game, she had the character down, made her funny, answered well, and bounced off everybody else in the room at every opportunity she got. Pythia was definitely my runner-up, a really interesting choice of character that you could just go odd with and she did, which was so Pythia. Everyone else I felt was varying shades of ok, meh or awful really, Kimora high was kinda bizarre as I swear we saw her get about 2 lines plus they even criticised her Snatch Game performance. It wasn't BAD but it is one of the most nothingy Snatch Games to be in the top, I am glad she is getting some kudos though as she has been fading into the background a bit and it's not like there was much other choice there to put high. Gia was bordering on cringe but I suppose she at least tried and had some semblance of character there. Adriana was just awful, there was absolutely NOTHING! No voice, no mannerisms, what did the nip slip have to with Sofia?! I'm wondering if that was intentional or not tbh :lol: I feel like there's a disconnect between how polished she is with her looks and there being a spark when it comes to things like comedy and performance, but then she just won an acting challenge, I don't quite know what it is but I'm not fully clicking. She seems lovely, her looks are great, and she is clearly capable, but there's *something* not quite there. Suki had so much more to give, that lipsync wasn't great on either part really but I think she had a bit more nuance and variation in her lipsync than Eve. Eve for once wasn't deluded when she said she shouldn't have been in the bottom though, her Snatch Game was by no means great but there was a resemblance, characteristics and a coupe of jokes. But given she WAS in the bottom and her lipsync wasn't great, it was her time to go. She's been downright the worst for 2/4 weeks, overrated for another and below average for another, this is the first time Suki has faltered. I know it's not necessarily about track record but when a lipsync is close/nothing special I think it could/should have tipped it for Suki :( The lipsync song was random af too, I feel like they had rights issues with the original and just commissioned a cover because there is nothing about it online except for the Eve vs. Suki lipsync.

November 12, 20213 yr Solid episode, Bye Flop is so catchy :lol: The mini challenge was hilarious too. Not Synthia lowkey being Elektra Shock-d though, she had possibly the best verse along with Adriana and Gia and whilst I know she was team captain, I don't think all the problems with the group were her fault. Kimora faltering a bit, Eve being in her head and Kendall's verse being awful were not her fault, at the end of the day it's down to you yourself to kill the challenge! It's not like she just murdered the stage and completely overshadowed them, the choreo WAS her fault but again, the rest of them could have done more. I know it was judged as a team but there was an individual winner and an individual bottom 2, Synthia should not have been in the bottom for that. Her runway wasn't *great* but I don't think it was hideous enough to put a great performance in the bottom. Adriana would have possibly been my winner but Gia was great too!
November 12, 20213 yr Author Canada's Drag Race 2 is so good! I liked Eve but Synthia bodied her in that lipsync. Thought Kimora was the worst of the week, she was lucky to avoid B2. Synthia's runway was amazing for me. On the flip, Icesis was lucky to be in the winning team because she didn't know the words to the song apart from her own verse. I caught her flubbing or not even trying to lipsync at least 3 or 4 times.
November 14, 20213 yr I don’t think you understand- i’m OBSESSED with this series. Any of the queens left could win and i’d be happy- although i’d say Kendall is the one lacking the most for me atm

November 17, 20213 yr This series is an odd one for me and I can't fully explain why. It's fantastic and I think all of the queens are super talented but I'm not finding myself rooting for anybody in particular. Pythia feels very clearly like the one producers want me to love, and she isn't putting a foot wrong, but idk, I'm not being grabbed by anyone's personality hugely, even though the polish is there. I think I was kind of rooting for Stephanie and Suki though, so maybe it's partly just my initial favourites not pulling through? I do think it's missing a Priyanka or a Jimbo though, who may not have been as polished, but were INCREDIBLE TV. I don't think any of them are amazing TV, perhaps that's just it. I'm really enjoying the judges this year though, it's working so much better and everybody is bringing their A GAME on the runway.
November 19, 20213 yr That was such a strong ball! I think Gia easily could have won if not Icesis, I love that pretty much every week she is constantly thinking outside the box with her runways, in a goofy kind of way that still serves some fashion and polish. Kimora's ugly as sin was probably my favourite of the whole night just for being so powerful, and a completely different idea to just being a garish clashing colour kind of look, that was incredible, so a good week for her too and Pythia also smashed all 3 categories. The bottom 2 was correct imo, sadly for Synthia. The way she looked the best she's looked all season in an ugly category :drama: Her designed look was... ok I suppose but it wasn't enough at this stage. Kendall did win that lipsync but I'd much rather Synthia stayed, Kendall is very "let me ask you a very fair question, what DO you do successfully", because other than the shoehorned in top for the Rusical she arguably didn't deserve, she hasn't done that well at any of the challenges and constantly has meh runways.
