I don't trust Dutch customs anymore (have been waiting over a month now for the Wannabe vinyl) :lol: And since Brexit we have to pay extra import costs as well, so I have it all delivered to my parents-in-law in the UK. Have to wait a bit longer to get it, but at least it will count towards the charts and is a lot cheaper.

The original order I did had a note about the new EU VAT rules so I was expecting that it would be ok. Who knows

Some UK companies they pay the Vat themselves so you're fine and don't have any extra costs

but if not, you have to pay it yourself but worst is you have to pay the handling fees, which are higher than the Vat

here in DK the handling fees alone are 30Euros...

Thankfully they’re apparently only 6€ for DeutschePost which I can handle. I just want them to be free from customs jail and in my arms 😭

For sure! I love One Touch (C.R.E.A.M Remix) and Real Thing (2-Step Radio Mix).

Yeah I agree with that. They're both worth a go.

 

 

Wish the Demos had some more plays, especially Girls Nite Out which is fab.

Midweek #8 today with 3,314 sales (and yesterday it was #7 with 3,171 sales). Unfortunately quite a small increase!

 

If One Touch had been released last week instead, 3,314 sales would have been enough for it to be midweek #5 last Tuesday. Kind of typical that this week is more competitive!

 

3,314 is already enough sales that they would have charted at #17 last Friday if they'd sold that over the whole week. We still have three sales days to go! I shouldn't jinx it, but Top 20 seems very likely.

 

If every album in the current midweeks sold the exact same amount of copies as they did yesterday, over the next few days, Sugababes would end up at #16. It's on course for 3,750 sales, unless it has a random boost. If it sells that much, that would have got them to #11 last week. However it seems like this week's Top 15 are all destined to sell 4k+. Let's hope Sugababes can sneak into the Top 15 at least. I would say that Top 10 is unlikely as it seems like #10 could sell 5k+.

I am so stoked to see it still in the top 10. I know we still have a few days to go but thats already so so so so much better than I think anyone expected.

 

 

In her Q&A, Mutya was asked "Are You Excited that One Touch might hit the top 10 this week?" and her reply was "Im excited for what evers gonna happen im shocked how well its going anyway so top 10 is great" - so sounds like this is really outperforming the expectations of the Girls too!!!
