Honestly, even with all the extra editions selling ~3.5k in the UK alone is more than I expected. It would be curious to see what the worldwide sales were like.

Thanks for the update Jay! Actually quite surprised to see it still as high as #8 and yes, it will definitely drop but those sales are quite healthy. Should add at least a few 100's which is a nice result for them. Who would have thought it would even trouble the top 20 to start with?

I guess it makes sense from the perspective that cassettes are collectibles and downloads just... isn't.

What today :o where is today's update?

Down to 10 today. It will fall a little more but this is looking very promising for top 20 and thus a new peak.

Unfortunately it's really slowed down now - it only sold 61 copies yesterday (to put it into perspective, out of the Top 200 albums in the mids, it was the 193rd best seller of yesterday). Current sales = 3,375.

 

It's 209 sales ahead of #11. All of the albums in the 11-20 section sold in the hundreds yesterday (mostly it's streaming), so a few of them are on course to go ahead of Sugababes.

 

The Top 20 is set to do 3,200+, so unless I'm underestimating the streaming boost of certain albums, Sugababes should be safe. I'm now predicting #17!

Yeah we knew this was gonna be front loaded as hell. It’s a niche release really and it’s basically fan service and most of us have already got what we wanted

I don't think I'd ever could've dreamed of One Touch returning to the top 40, much less getting a new peak, so it's all good.
