Happy that Måneskin are comfortably top 50 on Spotify at least!

They’re #24 global too

Also thrilled that it looks like Sam Fender is finally going to achieve a top 40 hit :cheeseblock:

They aren’t really new songs though. They are just extra bonus tracks that have finally been added to streaming - all of which are distinctly average at best. They were never going to do well.

This (though I think RedEye and Hailey are both pretty great tracks!). They were never going to have any real impact as they're seven month old bonus tracks that have been out on YouTube for the whole time (or on CD for those of us who bought the alternate editions of Justice).

Ghost is the actual new Bieber single, but that doesn’t seem to be doing anything?

EDIT: It’s actually #91 on Global, so maybe it is taking off

Ghost has only recently been added to Today's Top Hits and the video came out yesterday so it's still early days! No add on Hot Hits UK yet which will be the deciding factor as to whether it gets much UK traction or not (it's always an uphill struggle for post album singles to get much support for some odd reason). The last post-album Bieber single was Company, from the Purpose album, and that spent four weeks top 40 but only off the back of the album release - its single push "only" got it back to #58. Ghost deserves to be huge but I don't really see it sadly.

Måneskin debuting in the top 40 is pretty good (I was kind of expecting much worse based on its complete lack of impression on Apple, annoying that we can't see below the top 200 there any more but it surely can't be that far off there?) I definitely wouldn't expect it to peak in the first week anyway, unless it ends up not taking off at all. We need to wait for if the high council of TikTok deems it worthy of virality there or not. People predicting it to be challenging Ed Sheeran for #1 always felt like a pretty massive overestimate, given their previous hits never even really got that close to #1.

A bit of a disconnect between the Sam Fender showings on Apple and Spotify, with 'Get You Down' being only his fourth highest song on Spotify which must dampen its chances of making the top 40 sadly. I guess 'Seventeen Going Under' might actually have a better chance of making it, assuming it can get an SCR reset? I really hope he can get there with something but why do I have a bad feeling he's just going to end up with multiple songs in the 41-50 region again now… :drama:

agree, can totally see him with 3 singles charting 41-50 sadly
Went to check if the Chartoo website's Apple Music 'rock' chart would give a hint to how Måneskin are doing there only to learn that this new song seems to be classified as pop rather than rock oops. It is #63 in the pop chart though, while Adele's 'Chasing Pavements' is #61 on that pop chart and #184 on Kworb so that does indicate it should be very close behind the top 200 overall. The charts don't match entirely 1 to 1 ('Rain On Me' for example is #51 on the Chartoo pop chart but only #199 on Kworb) so there may still be some Kworb jank here, but they're not wildly off from each other.
Jessy now up to #6 on Apple

Ah there we go! Good that they are still rising at least :magic:

edit: although I don't see that on Kworb, are you looking somewhere else? x

I’ve got Apple Music so just checking their actual chart on the app
Ahh right. Does the chart there only go down to #200 as well? (I'm not sure if it is viewable to non-subscribers)
Shivers 43k increase vs Cold Heart 75k increase! Elton and Dua are coming! Just a shame Shivers is now track #1 on Hot Hits again
Yeah the app is just the top 200 as well. I think they only thing that’s different with the app over Kworb is updating more often and the City Charts
Glad Måneskin are top 40 on Spotify, really hoping for another top 20 hit from it at some point

Yeh it would be typical like.

Think the reason for the disconnect is that the single ‘Get You Down’ is on a lot more playlists and has more support on Apple whereas on Spotify it’s generally going be the order of the songs on the album.
