That said,remixes on the same week as the CD will take it to the Top 100.

The question is, will that be enough to take it to an official Top 75 placement.

They are my least enjoyed Disco singles but I will try playing them side by side to see how they compliment each other.

From both songs I prefer Magic, but, Say Something and Real Groove are superior.

So far for me say something is my clear fave with real groove in 2nd.a second to midnight for me would be better as an album track as I think there are stronger songs on the original disco release and the deluxe.

I was singing A Second To Midnight at work quietly earleir and then soon after my colleague was singing I just died in your arms tonight..... 😜

Say something is in a league of it's own, I do enjoy magic but not on the same level,, real groove is in between both.
#82 today, under 500 yesterday so looks like it'll end up missing the Top 100 after all.

 

Good to see it holding on at least for another day.

The problem is no airplay what so ever.

YouTube it's still trending and getting 250,000+ views world wide a day

 

Spotify streaming was around 180,000 worldwide yesterday.

 

Downloads struggling down to 25.

 

I guess impact week for this single is week of 12th November.

 

I would not be surprised to see all 3 singles released before album. We ll know one is coming on 10th November from her Instagram account.

 

Would they dare to release an Infinite Disco remix too?

 

I am guessing an extended mix may get a released a few days before the 10th December extended mixes vinyl is released

Of course not, aside from its premiere on Radio 2.

 

Until it gets playlisted on there, you're more likely to extract blood from a stone than hear it on the radio.

With little support so far it is doing incredibly wl holding a midweek placement all week.

I don't think they will playlist it on BBC radio 2 as I think they will playlist the second single instead which will come in 4 weeks. But maybe they will do both for short stints rather than the normal 6 weeks.

 

Do years and years get radio 1 playlisted?

 

 

Spotify streaming remains consistent another 175,000 world wide approx. It's got on All new All now circa 500k listeners

 

YouTube the video is doing really well. Getting approx 250,000 worldwide views a day. Approaching 2,000,000 views in 7.5 days. Now 49th most watched Kylie video of all time. Should go top 40 by end of week

 

 

 

 

Kylie usually gets playlisted for four weeks, so if it gets playlisted this weekend then that would take us up to album release day. Then push the second single over November/December.
^^ This, I’m not too worried about R2 playlist as they will add it, they often don’t add immediately and it will all be part of a strategy with BMG.
